Just goes to show how PCs are light years ahead of consoles and how powerful PCs reallyare. And that's with last gen. hardware. I won't even go into this gen PC hardware, which is laughable when compared to the power of the Xbox 360/PS3/Wii+all the consoles combine in history.

Yup, not surprising. In other news, the Earth is round and orbits the Sun. Anyways, it's well known how powerful PC's can be.

Yeah but its not the only graphics card, meaning games wont be fully optimised especially for it like consoles.

Not 70 million Wiis + 40 million 360s + 40 million PS3s + every other million 6th-1st generation consoles. 70 million Wii were brought to market were they not?

Well the point was to educate some consolers as to HOW powerful PCs are. If I were to tell that my graphics card (HD 4870) is more powerful than all the consoles combined, alot of the console fanboys would say I was mental. I find it fascinating that PC technology has come so far that one graphics card is more powerful than all the consoles combined. PCs are ridiculously powerful.

even a cheap card like the 5670 costs half the price of 360 and wii. 130$ for the 1gb version on 5670 and 100 for 512 mb . pc is light years ahead in hardware but not in software. most people are still using xp. Most devs do not spend the time to make games that are far more complex then what the console hardware is cable of . its just to much money to do that these days . dx 10 support was luke warm for a long time. dx 11 has also had a pretty slow start .

consoles are not about having the best machine money can buy. If you want the best of the best every year then pc is the only option. I think onlive is a bit of a hybrid between console and pc. what i like about it is that there is no hardware cost for the user and they upgrade there own severs. but unless you want blurry 720p you should go els where lol.
