(10 at Gamespot) Official GTA thread - Keep it here or face SUSPENSION!

I tthink we need to rename this title to Grand Theft Auto X (as in GTA 10) :D

And this just in; the ESRB just placed legislation mandating that owning a copy of GTA10 is mandatory for all X360 and PS3 owners. Failure to comply will result in confiscation of your console 8) :P

i hav a question...there is no planes in gta iv...and the story is that there are no planes because there is no point in flying from one end of the city to another...well the city is big..and ppl would love to jsut get on a plane and go to the end of the city....the city is as big as san andreas...and the other reason there are no planes is ppl will crash in buldings and put it on youtube and it will be 9/11 all over again....plz tell me..who beleives this....dont you think its a cover up for the real reason....dont you think that because 360 uses normal 9gb dvd9 discs thats why planes where not in the game.because there was jsut no more space to put planes..because the ps3 could fill up so much more space.....because 50gb>9gb.....dont you think if the game was only on ps3 it would be way bigger and have planes...planbfreak4eva

And remember, it's not milking to expect the consumer to upgrade a HD after the consumer fills up the PS3 HD with mandatory installs...

yeah when i can muster up the money for it i will, my one year warranty is up so i have to wait about a week and a half to get payed, then ill ship it off, and sadly yes i got one of the 1% of ps3's with a part that broke on me lol

you might be able to, but there trade in policy is kinda crappy, you have to wait a week and then you can get the money for the stuff you took in, but you can only use that money to buy things there

Same thing happened to me. :( You put the disc in, see the disc icon in the top right corner, then it never loads.

I noticed another difference between the 360 and PS3 versions and this one is gameplay related...Little Jacob's "Badman" sidejobs are different on each system.

[spoiler] The 360 version: When you drop off badman's packages in their stash spot's, a rival gang will spot you and you have to take them out..The PS3's missions are more of a beat the clock, get to a certain place at the right time type of mission [/spoiler]

do you have any idea how many options there are for compressing audio? Do you have any idea how much space uncompressed audio takes? no, you don't.

first of all... who says the blu ray discs are fully used (maybe MGS4, but what is on the disc.. we'have to wait and see)?. second of all.. lossless audio is heavy stuff.... it takes up HUGE amounts of space. think of the difference of one song in Cd quality and the same song as a mp3... compare the amount of data.. and then consider the fact that cd -quality is not lossless audio..... at all..

also, some data is being used multiple times on the blu ray disc so the info is easier/ faster to find because of the slower reading speed of bu ray.
