Is this supposed to be on next gen consoles? :question:LantoNo these shots are from the PS3 version.
Pretty sure those are PS3 shots. I haven't seen those kinds of semi-realistic graphics from the 360 as of yet. The team also mentioned that they were focusing on the PS3 as the base sysetm for development and would be utilizing the Cell for such things as physics and amount of objects seen on the screen.proof11102

"Criterion Games is aiming for the world with Burnout 5, starting with your PlayStation 3"
CRASH INTO ME
Everyone marveled at the amazing results that Criterion's software got from the PS2, but it took some tough decisions to get there. If the team wanted to spend more of the computing power on graphics, they'd have to pull back in another area, such as audio. If they wanted to keep that sense of speed, the number of objects running physics might need to be dialed down. But not anymore. Thanks to the Cell processor, they're now able to truly get graphics, physics, and audio to work together as a team to create some of the most mind-blowing videogame effects ever seen. Executive producer Matt Webster explains: "Cell has lifted limitations, and those are the two areas that win--audio and physics. And, in particular, our own brand of how we use those."

Playstation 3 only made by a 2nd party Sony Team (I believe.)
Im gonna just laugh so hard when the X360 version is the better of the two. Afterall, they already have experience making a Burnout game for X360. Whatever though...we'll see E M I N 3 M
Ugh...that was a port. Not made from ground up. So the experience is little.

Using blury shot to try to pove a point wont help you in this matter.
Just look at Forza 2 if you want any indication of what an exclusive racer built specifically with the power of xbox360 in mind can acheive after 2 year. In comparison to what PS3 has produced already after 41/2 months on the market...it ain't much. and I was only using F1 as an example, it was by no means a limit. Those (the graphics you saw in that PS3 image) my desperate little lemming friend is what you should understand is the current state of PS3 rendering PS3 is producing at this time...here let me give you another example.
It's sad that you fly into fits of damage control already by posting low res pic of PS3 screens. The PS3 has only been out for 4 months, what will you do after a year? And just for your information and education, since you want to post low rez pics of this awsome looking game, I'll post a direct link to High rez video of GAMEPLAY so you will have full understanding...and xbox360 has nothing like it.

apparently proof11102 won't show up here after that ownage... typical cow :lol:Nedemisthose screens were not hd screens i can tell you that now because on my hdtv that game looks amazing and the screens that were shown....blow.

Just got owned hard.
Cow reps are the worst.SkyRaid
Where, when, how?
The only people who got owned in here were the people who were arguing against me or trying to defend the other dude was talking about. I suppose you have some proof to backup your calim that I got owned (hope it wasn't that blury pic that the despeate lemming posted...when I posted a direct link to ingame video footage afterwards that totally distroyed him) or did you come in here to make a dumb post because you're simply another thoughtless xbox and leave?

You know it's wierd, because I thought this game was announced for PS3 and 360. But I didn't know the 360 woudln't be able to play this game.[QUOTE="Raidea"][QUOTE="DaysAirlines"]So what this thread is boiling down to is that the 360 can't handle Burnout 5.DaysAirlines

Well, the general feeling I'm getting from PS3 fans is while Burnout 5 will look amazing on the PS3 the 360 version will look a lot like this...
