Althoug i myself dont factor in reviews when making purchases, I find that the ones the give are the most balanced and somewhat the most unbiased and fair.

I do not think over reviewers will be quite so generous. It is probably going to be an AA title from most reviewers, cows should really be hyping it at that like I am. If GS gives it AAA then that is a good thing, but I would rather be safe then sorry.
Why bother posting any PS3 game scores on here because people on here can't really process a good score unless it is a bad score then these wonderful people will agree with that instantly!!!

LOL you lemmings use whatever reviews suit you to support your games and neglect the bad. And then when another PS3 game gets a good review from another source you say its crap. So ridiculous. Blue Dragon got pretty bad reviews in EGM btw. If it got a 10/10 from a magazine thats published around the US Id hardly say the game is crap. It is most likely not a 10/10 here but you cant deny that a review is a review.

All those magazines (including Play) are biased. Saying someone is slightly more biased than the other doesn't change the fact they are still biased. Halo 3 gets a perfect score.....wow, didn't see that coming.
Would you expect anything less from a Sony magazine on one of its biggest releases to date for the PS3. Biased sources FTL!
Yet when Xbox mag gave Bioshock a perfect score most said, confirmed AAA-AAAA title. All the lems jumped on and agreed.
When Xbox mag gives Halo3 a perfect score.....you think Lems won't be out here claiming Halo3 owns?
I agree it's not a good idea to judge a game based on those biased sources however I honestly didn't see any complaints when that post said they scored Bioshock perfect.

Im sure all the other fanboys for the other systems would use it for MP3, BioShock or any of the other games coming out. All I can say at least its not a BAD sign for the game. At the very least you can admit that.
If this was a bad score no one would be questioning it tho.

Well of course because if Play magazine pans one of its own games, it must be really really bad. I am sure this game is good (I have it pre-ordered), but you don't find anything funny about Play giving HS a 10?

That is completely true. It doesn't mean this game isn't rock solid awesome; however, you must take the review with a grain of salt.

Xbox Mag is far more reliable than Play. I would trust Xbox Mag reviewing Wii games more than Play.
Play gave Overlord a 9/10, so that means that Heavenly Sword is only mildly better than that game :lol:
Even better, according to them Heavenly Sword is only 1.5 points better than Sonic the Hedgehog for 360. Isn't that great?!

Just yesterday, I was at Best Buy and I saw that the copies of Overlord for 360 have stickers on them that say "9/10 Play Magazine" on them. Seriously. Also, how many times do you see web ads or magazine ads that claim "9/10 ---Magazine" (fill in the blank with either: Play, Maxim, etc.). This is free publicity for their magazines.

I agree. I don't think I've ever seen Maxim give LESS than a 5 out of 5 stars for a game...
