Do you honestly believe there wasn't some degree of bias in there? Hell, it even beat out Crysis Warhead for best graphics. Doesn't that raise some alarms for you?

I finished the game last month, and it deserves it. All of it.

The final Act where you go on the ship was just.......literally epic.

The game was perfect in every way I can think of, and I'm a PC guy.

It beat crysis because crysis had no limits. It was on a computer, so they could push past current technology and future proof their game. However, do you see that word "technical"? It means which game is technically the most efficient in the graphics department. Metal Gear Solid 4 pushed the PS3 to it's limits, and wow does it look amazing.

It also has some play in it. The active camo was an outstanding feature. Don't get me wrong, Crysis looks better, no contest. However, I promise you, if Crysis was optimized for the PS3, it wouldn't come close.

I have always been under the impression that when they say "best graphics (technical)" they mean "most impressive graphics (technical)", not "most efficient graphics engine". Past winners of this award show this. Also, if you weighed graphics against the limitations of the platform it's on, then it is entirely possible for, say, a DS game to win it. Do you believe that that is absurd? I do.

"Best graphics-technical" is far more objective, and Crysis: Warhead's graphics are, objectively, far better than MGS4's.

I'm an MGS fan and I think it shouldn't of won Best Graphics Technical if they had 3 Graphical categories like Best Graphics Technical PC, Best Graphics Technical Consoles, and Best Graphics Artistic. If they had 3 Graphic categories I would say MGS4 would win the Consoles Technical.

But the best news was [spoiler] Valkyria Chronicles [/spoiler] won Best Graphics Artistic.

i think crysis didnt win because its an expansion of last years game, even though its a stand alone expansion, crysis won last year, seriously enough talk about crysis already, and the achievement was for best graphics, technical, if i remember correctly Super Mario galaxy was nominated last year and no one had a fit about it even though it look worse than any game released on competing consoles, people chill out and calm down already, i think MGS deserved itmasterdante

That is so true. Warhead is just an expansion to the game that won best graphics last year. I don't even think it should be on that list. MGS4 deserves it, period.

and what else was it competing against? gears 2? they cant really give it to that game either because its running off the same engine the first game was and that won 2 years ago, and imo would seem a bit redundant because it really wasnt big enough of a leap from the first to really deserve to get it once again.
