However MGS4 was mad eon the ps3, and it had limitation, but it is the BEST out there for the system, and pushed the ps3 to it's limits.

Example: If there was a DS game, that looked like CoD 1, it would've won for technical graphics because of the boundaries it had to work with.

True, however, HL2 had an extremely well optimized engine, that looked amazing AND came with physics. And no, it shouldn't have different categories for different consoles, that is ridiculous. That is why there is AN award for ONE winner.

Oh boy! MGS4 is killin em just like I thought it would. And for the record I do NOT i repeat DO NOT agree with the Tech graphics award. Crysis simply looks better then MGS4 but that doesnt change the fact that MGS4 deserved every award it won except the aforementioned and deserves the awards that are coming up.

But I like how tech graphics award as led into all this MGS4 bashing and the tears of angry fanboys has truely made this a great first day of awards, bu bu teh cutscenes and teh convuluted storiez!!11

Pfft, MGS4 did a ton of great things and did them extremely well and is getting the accolades it deserves. But please by all means keep the tears coming because they are delicious.

Alarms? Bias? Ordinarily that might seem to be the case, but the award is conferred with respect to the platform, so yes - it's a legitimate winner...

The whole MGS4 had more efficient graphics is laughable nonsense. Last year Crysis was using a less optimized engine and won. Also last year the PS3 had Uncharted which, even according to PS3 owners, looks better then MGS4 proving it had far more efficient graphics. And yet Crysis crushed all competition.

So since Crysis Warhead had a better optimized graphics engine and MGS4 didn't look as good as Uncharted then by your own logic Warhead should have been the clear winner based on past precedent.

Quit trying to spin this, MGS4 deserved a lot of awards, but technical graphics wasn't one of them.

Sucks too because I wanted it to be good, Heck I had more fun with the Uncharted demo.

This isn't a fanboy argument. Plenty of PS3 owners, even cows, think that MGS4 didn't deserve this award, and have said so. This is a legitimate issue, and warrants discussion. That's what SW is about.
