Am I the only one here who thinks that Killzone 2 will still suck? I mean, the first one was HORRIBLE and that's an understatement!

It was made by a different team. You may say "no, it's still Guerrilla Games", but that would be correct only in name. The original Killzone was made by around 40 or so people. Killzone 2 is being made by over 120 people, the bulk of which have been brought in from other successful Sony studios. It also has a massive budget which has been used to hire new talent.
The graphics were "muddy", the framerate was constantly dropping, the weapons sucked and most of them were like the same thing! Sniper Rifle, WTF was up with aiming with it!? The campaign was repetitive, the story was terrible, the AI acted like a bunch of screaming monkies and the enemies were SO ANNOYING. They said the
same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. It was obviously no Halo killer! The_Decapitated
It's war, what did you expect it to look like? Bright colors and pretty rainbows? The framerate has been a rock solid 30fps in all the recent Killzone 2 media, and it's still got 9 months left of development time to iron out any kinks. It has more weapons than the first Killzone, has a more varied campaign (although I can't comment on the story), and the AI is in the process of being designed by one of the best AI programmers in the industry (it is not ready yet though, hence the dumb placeholder AI seen so far).
Now Killzone 2 is around the corner. It has flashier graphics but it still looks horrible! Same annoying Enemies, same boring squad-mates, etc. Something tells me that Killzone 2 will be as good as the first Killzone, which by the way was horrible if you didnt read the first paragraph! The devs should've started a completley new series. That's how horrible the first Killzone was. Am I the only one who believes that it will stink and the "genes" will be passed down? The_Decapitated
Killzone 2 is going to improve on the original in every way, as i've shown in the above paragraph. The team is different, and have already demonstrated how skilled they are at exploiting the PS3's power and making a great game to play in the process. They still haven't even shown the online and co-op.
