They want heavily scripted corridor shooters with 3 hour single players campaign and CoD style multiplayer. Anyway, I think everything besides the gunplay looks fantastic. Im thinking that there may be a way to turn off that "look at tablet" message. Im kinda interested in how the multiplayer will turn out.Looks great.Really don't understand what some of you want.

Meh it still gets a lot of criticism for being a Z game. I don't understand really. Cause this seems very different from say L4D or The Walking Dead or The last of us which all seem to be very promising and unique games in terms of gameplay. It's not that hard to look through a games theme is it? I had to put up with boring american cities being used all the time but I didn't hear people complain about that.i like how when the last of us was first announced everyone was up in arms about it being a generic zombie game and how were tired of them, and now nintendo is getting what seems to be the most generic zombie game of all time and sheep are eating it up.

Does System Wars even like Call of Duty? :P But hey, people want something different, and when they get it,they just whine.I'm sure there will be a way to turn off that message,it's distracting. This game looks pretty promising and sounds unique enough to stand out.Looks great.Really don't understand what some of you want.

That is not the reason I'm not impressed with The Last of Us. It is a survival game, but the survival looks pretty weak and your decisions don't seem to mean much, outside of character dialog. Remember that trailer where Joel runs over that guy, instead of helping him because of his pleas? That is the decision the player should be making, survival decisions, not "should I murder this guy and feel bad or should I sneak by?", because it doesn't make much of a difference. That is my problem with The Last of Us, and until they prove me wrong, I'll still have that problem with it.
Just like I had a problem with Uncharted's lack of more options, like branching paths, you know, gameplay stuff, just so the story would flow better. That is dumb, But guess what I'm picking up eventually when I get a PS3? Uncharted 1-3.

I'm pretty sure that message is for demo purposes. I hope.

I think we had enough Resident Evil 4's this gen honestly...even Silent Hill went that route with Homecoming. If you want your middle ground....go Play Resident Evil 6.This game will either turn out really great or really bad.
Zombie games stink of mediocrity, I hope I'm wrong about this, but I'm not being fooled AGAIN. FPS? Zombies? Meh.
Apart from Resident Evil and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, I have no idea how or why developers manage to fvck up zombie games with boring characters, lame stories and the worst gameplay mechanics ever created.
Zombies have no place in gaming.
I hope this game proves me wrong, but it probably won't.
The gunplay looks terrible.... JC_SpotNo, whoever is playing the game has apparently never played an FPS with dual-analog. The dude seems incapable of moving and shooting simultaneously. I think this game is growing on me as far as it's concept but I still contend that it's ugly AS FVCK.
Look at wii-u controller.
Chris_Williams
That comes off as so forced. I hope all WiiU games don't have that crap shoehorned in...

They could just make an option to turn off that message. (I find it funny that while games are so far advanced, they tend to lack useful options.)I heard someone saying on the background that "one bite and you're dead." That sounds promising. Like it should be in a zombie game. But still, not interested in zombies. Sorry.

Think about how far apart the joysticks are though.
I feel like playing games with the Wii-U pad would suck so bad. I'm used to Dualshock 3 and 360 pads.
the running commentary in my head as i watched this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6PJpcBh7mU&feature=player_embedded
You know, I actually thinks this looks like it could be a really enjoyable game.

the hate on this game is pathetic in this thread. This is a simple game that explores how you can integrate the touch screen into gameplay. This is hyped as nothing more than that. It's not hyped as superior to DayZ or as the next graphics king. Looking down at the controller a lot would not be annoying and it would not break immersion. The lack of a jump button is irrelevant without knowing how the whole game is designed. The proper response to a game like this is to be intrigued and open minded about it because there isn't anything out there like it.

Games are about being fun. It looks not fun. chaoz-kingI'm perfectly fine with people saying they just don't find it appealing. I have issue when people come up with BS reasons for it. These BS reasons include but are not limited to: absent story, no cinematics, lack of a jump button, looking at the controller screen too much, slow moving zombies, and less than stellar graphics. Seriously, these are the lamest reasons I have ever heard for hating on a game. There have been genuine reasons given in this thread, like the awkward gunplay and generic art style, but these issues aren't entirely confirmed for the entire game and just not important enough for me to overlook the real focus of the game, which is how they integrate the touch screen controls into the gameplay. I'm not praising it. I'm just saying I'm open minded and curious about it. Nobody here knows if it will be good or not because we haven't tried anything like this yet. If I would criticize your opinion about it not looking appealing it would be because you don't even know what you're rejecting exactly.

the proper response is to be open minded and intrigued by it, to explore it and to investigate it! to maybe have a sniff of it and then to have a little taste of it.
so what if there is a big undigested kernel of corn in there?
there may also be a delicious peanut or two in there if you root through it long enough!!!
that pile of shyt is totally unique and should be appreciated for what it is!!!

Perhaps they just find the game scary...and don't want to admit it :P Honestly though I bet most people complaining haven't touched the greatness of Silent Hill 2 or Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Most people can't handle Amnesia.
