IMO, 20 Trophies sounds better. I have 7300 gamerpoints and I'm working on my first trophy (Uncharted)

Hm...levels or random points assigned for each accomplishments? I choose levels, but in the end, they both are the same. I'm just more fond of a level system.
Why do people continue to compare Trophies to Gamerscore? They are not the same.
Trophies = Achievements
Level = Gamerscore

You are not fully undertanding what I am saying. would you rather have 20,000 gamerpoints showing you may have 100% 20 games or have a certain number of platinum trophies. Meaning that it is guaranteed you 100% that number of games
I'm working on my first trophy (Uncharted)

wait..Uncharted has trophies now?
I might have turn my Ps3 on again..
but OT: they are the same, they do nothing

Why are you comparing Trophies to Gamerscores? You should compare Trophies to Achievement's. Achievment's are the exact same as a trophy, but with gamerscore you get an extra layer to the trophy system so each achievement has a different wieght behind it since the harder it is the more gamerscore you get.
So at the base Trophies = Achievements, but Achievements have an extra layer to them.

I'm saying that I don't really care. Neither means anything to me. Neither is more asthetically pleasing.[QUOTE="gmastersexay"]Why do people continue to compare Trophies to Gamerscore? They are not the same.

Who cares?
Id take the points, considering its impossible to get 20 platinum trophies right now, and god knows how long we'll have to wait until we get enough games to support them.

QFT, I laugh at anyone that voted for 20 platinum trophies. Then again, cows hated the idea until trophies were put in...,
Trophies are clearly better because you can tell if a player is good by seeing how many gold or platinum the have.killzowned24
yeah because a gamerscore tells you nothing about how good a player is right?

it does but not as good as a Level system with seperate trophies up front.

If Trophies were standardized for all games, they would be the same thing as Achievements.
As it stands now, Trophies are a gimped, "Me too" system, and saying otherwise is absurd.
