2006 Gears, 2007 Halo 3, 2008 Gears 2, 2009 Halo Reach, 2010 Gears 3..

Anyone else notice this pattern by MS.. why is MS so afraid to take risks with new IPs this gen? I mean sure every now and then you will see a Alan Wake which is a new IP, but overall MS seems to have this pattern to play it safe each year and dont take risks.. With sony you have established IPs but a slew of new IPs this gen as well.. Im sure MS will announce a couple new IPs but overall there is no denying that if you want variety in your gaming including hardcore type games like the 360 has, PS3 is the way to go.

You know this thread should end here but unfortunantly this is really "hypocrysy wars".

I'd have to agree, variety is with the PS3 this generation. But I don't play enough video games for it to impact me. Quality is much more of a factor, and that can go either way with the 360 and PS3.
