It seems as though you mis-understood what I said. I realize that Bioshock's score won't affect Metroid's but I was just saying that I thought that Bioshock would get the GOTY award because this thread is about the GOTY award.

Metroid's going to be a fantastic title that won't sell as well as it deserves to, but it won't get GOTY. It's going to play too similar to the GC metroids for that.

Plus Gamespot wouldn't give a Wii game GOTY because they're too busy complaining about the graphics.

Agreed, they're just toosuckers for the graphics and they complain too much about the wiimote. I remember the Scarface reviewwere they said " You have to point too much at the screen" or something like that. Anyways about Metroid 3 getting theGotY, it deserves it, the gc metroid games were the best of the las gen, and i doubt this will be any different.

There is NO way Halo 3 will win GOTY. Absolutely no way. "More of the same" will be the quote from Gamespot that will be exploded onto System Wars the day of the review.

No. Plain and simple.

Personally I see Mass Effect or Bioshock winning it this year. But you never know, perhaps Crysis or Halo 3 could steal the show and really wow people.
