In what way? I thought Halo 3 was an excellent conclusion to the series and definitely worthy of it's 9.5/10 rating.

Look folks, its the same ten games, arranged differently every time. Get over it. All of those games deserve to be # 1, it just depends on the personal taste of the person putting the list together.

COD4 has some crazy moments that I've never seen before in a FPS. So give credit where it's due and stop crying already. Good grief. Don't like it: make your own list.

Just started playing COD4, and it definitely doesnt feel like a GOTY so far. I thought Halo 3 , Crysis, and The Orange Box were much better shooters. Otherwise I would have liked to have seen The Witcher on that list but who am I kidding? This is GS after all...

It just proves you don't need to make something unique like SMG or Bioshock to win GOTY, but instead make a good FPS with lots and lots of online features.St_muscat

Lots and lots of online features? Like what? A boring ranking system? Big deal....BF2 had this. It's the same exact game as the previous CoD's except CoD1 and UO were better.
