[QUOTE="RuprechtMonkey"] Nobody is contesting that the Wii is a sales machine.
People ARE saying it has a very low quality of games. Anytime anyone brings up the fact that the Wii is in a serious quality slump a Nintendo fanboy will ramble on and on about sales, even though no one was talking about them.
No one disputes the Wii sells the most. They say it has the worst library.

This is where the makebelieve world or System Wars and the Real World run into problems. In the real world, most people would say that the games that are selling the most must be the best because that's what people are buying and enjoying. In SW, we just go "Wii has the worst reviewed games therefore it's the worst"In reality, the fact that the Wii is selling so much software must mean that it is providing something to those that choose to buy it. The fact of the matter is, the Wii offers many games that the 360 and PS3 don't, as well as a bigger variety in genres outside of the big gaming areas of shooters, sports, and racers. Different does not = worse.
So in the real world 50 Cent Bulletproof was one of the best games of previous generation?
The truth is a huge portion of the Wii's demographic are "non-gamers" (people who didn't play games prior to the release of the Wii. They are highly swayed by marketing. In reality, they sell despite their poor quality, not because of it.
There's a reason so many Wii games are reviewed so poorly. Or, you can just continue to ignore it.
