***2008: Another Good Gaming Year- Games To Look Forward To:

2008 will be another solid year of gaming for this generation, there are many promising titles being released this year, heres a list of some of the games that many have thier eye on, and look very promising. This will be an amazing year for multiplats. overall i think there is alot more variety in game types this year, doesnt feel like a FPS cluster-screw as much.

These are my "top picks" of the games im REALLY REALLY looking forward to for 2008, if you think another game should be on the list post some trailers and a screenshot and tell me why!.

I Know many people will yell at me for not having FFXIII and Lost Odessey but im not a big fan of JRPGS

Its Grand Theft Auto, we all love running around cities shooting people and killing hookers, its going to be fun.

I Think its pretty much safe to say that Soul Calibur is the best 1v1 weapon fighting game, hopefully this game lives up to the quality and fun we have come to expect from the Soul Calibur Series. With the Xbo360 and Ps3 most likely having online modes, its only going to make the fighting even sweeter. Oh yeah, and NEXT GEN BOOB PHYSICS FTW.

Devil May Cry 4:

Resident Evil 5 (2009??):

Resident Evil 4 was one of the best games last gen, so we are expecting great things from RE 5. The graphics looks mind blowing and the action intense, good old resident evil with some next gen paint is nice :). Even if it comes out in 2009, im stil putting here dammit...

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

The Original Condemned was an amazing game, but it was higherly overlooked by many people for some unknown reason, One of the most atmospheric and downright suspensful and scariest games i've ever played, good story, fun gameplay, overall good game. I highly reccomend everyone who hasn't to play the original. This game will make you VERY afraid of crackheads....

Far Cry is a great series known for its great graphics and solid gameplay, Far Cry 2 is the next true installment, with a new setting and more open ended gameplay, lookin good.

Ninja Gaiden 2:

Ninja Gaiden has always kicked ass, plain and simple, the next installment looks like its not going to fall short of the fast paced ninja ass kicking that we all know and love from the Ninja Gaiden series.

I loved the first fable, but it had a few shortcomings are being adressed with the second. The second one looks like they are making lots of improveming by adding more to the combat system, overall gameplay improvements like scars, peopels reactions etc and the whole "dog' system is cool too.

I Like how you can buy properties, make money off em, get marries, tatoos, haircuts, family, children, etc, so many things.

The Economies also effect the cities.

The one on the n64 was great, im expecting this to be just as great, not too much info out yet though.

Silicon Knights went through alot of stuff getting the engine straight for this game, so it must be worth something. The game looks really interesting so far, i like the futuristic / sci-fi setting. The more i see of it though, the less AAA it looks, looks like itsp robably gonna be like a 7.5-8.5, but still pretty fun.

Metal Gear Solid 4:

Its MGS4, no need to elaborate....Im probably going to end up buying a ps3 just for this game alone.

Killzone 2

Killzone two looks like a really great Fps. Looks like its pushing some reeal next-gen tech in the graphics / lightning / physics department, as long as the gameplay is solid, theres no reason it shouldn't be AAA. The people making this game have something to prove, and are probably working 4x as hard after the less than accepting views of Killzone 1, to make an awesome game.

Super Smash Bros Brawl:

Who doesnt like super smash? im tempted to say this is probably the most anticipated game for the Wii, probably more than mario galaxy......or damn near close. Online play, more characters, shinier graphics....its all good.

Starcraft 2:

Its a game made by blizzard, its starcraft, its going to own, period. The original starcraft is probably the best RTS ever made, and we all expect starcraft 2 to deliver.
