360:

Mass Effect 2, Halo 3 ODST, New Rare title, Forza 3, Alan Wake

PS3:

Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, hopefully God of War 3, Team Ico project, Gran Turismo 5 (probably 2010)

Wii:

Zelda Wii and next Mario title (one can hope!)

2009 is going to be an awesome year for gaming.

Nah, there's no solid information about the game yet. No title, no screenshots, nothing.

I'm willing to bet that either GOW 3 or GT 5 will be out before 2009, with one of them releasing early 2010, as Sony did with Killzone 2.

Yeah, except I feel that SOCOM DEFINITELY should have been the one delayed. It needed it, and it was probably inferior to the shooters in Q4. Sony only delayed KZ2 for less competition in the holidays, no production issues, nothing.

Actually there is a difference, Rare has confirmed directly at least two more games in the making and Lionhead has confirmed two more games in development as well

ON the other hand that Rockstar rumor comes from a blog, not from Rockstar themselves, so noone can be sure if that game actually exists or is in development

it is really funny how much more quality titles the PS3 has over the 360 in 2009. The PS3 titles are just higher quality while the 360s is just the same old. Heavy Rain, Infamous, MAG there are very few games like these. Plus the TEAM ICO title thats going to 2010 is enough reason to buy a PS3.Adrian_Cloud

Sorry, but i find games like Alan Wake, KUF2, Two Worlds Temptation, Divinity 2, Venetica, Dungeon Hero, Star Ocean 4, Risen etc vastly more interesting, amazing and quality titles than any PS3 exclusive game

PS3 has very little things for me as a RPG gamer, and nothing like the above mentioned huge next gen free roaming world games, that are my thing

So, PLEASE, give us all a break, you are not the one to dictate what is better quality than the other

have you seen how White Knight on PS3 looks and plays ? Where is that PS3 quality you are talking about exactly ? For me only 360 has and will get huge free roaming next gen worlds with innovative gameplay in 2009, PS3 gets the same old style with small levels and confined in scope games, but with great visuals, nothing even remotly exiting for me

1up.com's estimated release date for god of war 3 is 11/15/09 so its pretty safe to put it in this list for all the doubters.desyple

Normally i would agree about the DL content, but when it is as huge as in Fable 2 and Fallout 3 that whole new areas are added to the game, i guess it is a must have on the list, since it given totally new life to an older game

On the other hand DL content like in GTA4 which is just some more missions, may not be added, it is just not big enough to make a difference and make the game look totally new, unlike Fable 2 and Fallout 3 ones
