There is nothing narrow minded about not wishing to invest in a faulty product that has supposedly been fixed now, the 3 year warranty simply serving to highlight how severe these problems have to be. My friends and I mess with one another all the time. They call me a snob for having money and I call them idiots for throwing their money away whenever they have some. No biggie.

I've been having an xbox 360 ( Jasper ) for almost 1 year now and it's super reliable. so I guess, good work Microsoft with fixing this unfortunate problem, although it was a shame that it happened in the first place.

Errm... old? And people still seem to be wilfully oblivious to that study only showing that the Wii can safely be said to have a failure rate within industry standard, which if I remember right is between 3-5%.

(Although I don't know if that "standard" is meant to be a 1-year failure rate or not... if so the PS3 *might* be within the industry standard. Might.)
