2010 a disapointing year?

I see some people on here posting that this year is the year of the flop (which is true) but they think this makes this year of gaming disapointing. I disagree since AA titles and even A titles are still good. We got a lot of qulaity titles in my IMO. So I enjoyed this year very well. I just think some people on SW overexaggerates on flops, and how it ruins a title, it doesen't,it just simply means it didn't quite meet expectations. So are you disapointed with how this year turned out game wise?

I've had my share of good games,plus Black Ops is still coming,so that's something.

This year was front loaded. There were a ton of great games early in the year, but the latter half has been pretty mediocre. Fortunately, there are still a lot of games from the previous years that I never played.

Fable 3 gets a bad score from GS and now its the year of the flop. TheColbert

if you didn't find something to enjoy playing this year then the door is that way. gaming is not for you

2010 has certainly not been a disappointing year, not for me, anyway. I got an XBox 360 in January and I love it. It WOULD have been a disappointing year if I only still had my Wii, since I'm hardcore and the Wii is an epic fail on the hardcore front.

I've been greatly enjoying 360 games-- Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Red Dead Redemption, Alan Wake, Star Wars The Force Unleashed II, Medal of Honor, and Halo Reach.

I hope 2011 is as fruitful.

Let's see, SMG2, SC2, DRD, BB: CS, Other M, and i'm stil waiting for DKCR, Epic Mickey and of course how can a i forget the best game this year, Bayonetta, so 2010 disappointing? Hell no.

It's not the worst, but there has been alot better. Vanquish, GOW3, and RDR saved this from being a mediocre year for me.

SMG2, ME2 and SC2 are amazing games and I still have games I haven't picked up yet like RDR and MoM.

No this year had more than enough titles to be remembered as a great year for gaming. Mass Effect 2, Rock Band 3, Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and God of War 3 are prime examples of what this year had to offer (a year that isn't even over yet). It may not be the best year in gaming like I had been hoping due to a few unfortunate flops, but in no way is this year disappointing

Yeah, but generally because I expected it to be substantially better than 2009.

It's just the System Wars metagame...

this was an alright year. There were good games like mass effect 2 red dead... but alot of people who i know or even online say that reach was kinda a litte disapointing.

Gamespot did an horrible job of putting fable 3 7.5 it should of atleast had gotten 9.0.

I have a bad feeling about black ops because i remember when we all bought MW2 but it was disapointing.

Any ways the games im pumped about are brotherhood and defjam rapstar
