Who else think 2010 is not become the great year for PS3 owner?

First, we got crappy port for Bayonetta

Second, we din't get Mass Effect 2

Third, White Knight Chronicles flop (scored 6.0 here on GS)

Fourth, MAG is not as good as I hoped (scored 8.0 here on GS)

And finally, Heavy Rain, one of my most aniticipated games failed to scored AAA quality:cry: (Scored 8.5 here on GS)

Seriously, things are not looking good with Sony, if this keeps up, the GOTY crown will go to Mass Effect 2 or another game, who else want to see a PS3 exclusives won GOTY Award 3 years in a row? I really really hope God of War III scored 9.5/10 here because PS3 really needs good games

Mass Effect 2 is too overhyped. It's just as bad as Uncharted 2's hype.

Bayonetta isn't THAT crappy. just a frame rate and loading issue here and there.

and God of War 3 is due out next month so....yeah.

Pretty ignorant topic, you're implying that Heavy Rain (which is averaging an 88 or 89 at Metacritic) flopped because it isn't AAA. Well guess what, the 360 and Wii haven't had any AAAE games at Metacritic yet (no, stop, MC > GS, 100 opinions > 1) either, so looks like nothing is bad. It's only been a month and a half so far, give it some time, God of War III is out next month, expect that to be at least a mid-90s average. It'll beat the 360 and Wii to first AAAE averaging game.

yeah because GOW III, Last Guardian, Modnation Racers, Gran Turismo 5, dont exist. besides just because GS scores a game below 9.0 doesnt mean your not going to love it. Heavy Rain, MAG and White Knight Chroniclesare very good games anyhow. 7 amazing exclusives plus all the other games coming out is certainly making 2010 Ps3s year.

MAG was flop? Im gratefull it didnt score 5 or 6 judging by the beta.
White Knight Chronicles was long forgotten.
We get GoWIII and GT5 (myb :D). Heavy Rain also scored well. It has 90% avrage... Since when is 90%/100% bad?

I think it looks good! And im expecting an awesome E3 for PS3 Resistance 3, Starhawk and Killzone 3 oh and Gran Turismo 5!

I'm about to feel fulfilled with my PS3 purchase. The PS3 has had many great games, expected and unexpected, but on launch day USA, I bought my PS3 for 2 games: MGS4 and GoW3. MGS4 delivered and then some, now GoW3 is about to be released. If GoW3 were to be the only game released for PS3 this entire year, I would be happy. I've been waiting for this moment for so long it's not even funny. It's like when you work 3 jobs saving up for that new house, and you finally have enough money. I cannot wait to walk into that store like I own the place, and drop down my 60 bones on a brand new copy of GoW3. Heck, I might even mack on one of the sales ladies, that's how good I'm gonna be feeling! :DII_Seraphim_II

I disagree 100%. I own white Knight and love it (why everyone plays scores is beyone me I prefer to play games), Final Fantasy 13 is most likely going to be best on Ps3, and it will have the console exclusive on FINAL FANTASY 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final Fantasy 14 alone makes PS3 pure win for me this year (after all my avatar is a Taru Taru im very bias!!)

Mass Effect 2 scores 9.0 and instantly wins game of the year. Heavy Rain scores 8.5 and flops.

Even if we follow SW logic, however, the PS3 is still looking strong. The 360 does not have any AAA exclusives yet this year. It does not have any AA exclusives yet this year, either. So far this year, it has no exclusive content worth talking about.

The PS3 has MAG and it has Heavy Rain. Two solid AA exclusives. Heavy Rain is AAA if you go by Gamerankings. And Bayonetta has been patched to solve the worst issues which brought down its score.

we noticed at this stage that the movies on the Xbox 360 suffered from more compression than on the PlayStation 3, while the Xbox 360 had an overall crisper image quality in the main game.

This year will still be better for PS3 than 2009 was for this 360, so I don't see the problem. Either way, both consoles are going to have a stellar year. God of War and Halo Reach are equally huge releases. Microsoft just has more development cycles ending this year than the PS3 does.

i knew this year wont be good for the ps3, which is why i traded my ps3 for a 360:D im too smart....MAG is a terrible game. heavy rain is a terrible movie with no re-WATCH value lol. GOW3 is a rental for its no replay value. last guardian just looks like childs play imo. GT5 only game i like for ps3 this year. oh and bad game ports which it will have....

Im being honest i think all 3 are doing fine this year all of them have good exclusives i really enjoy heavy rain regardless of what score it gets.Same the abundance of other games on all the systems.

I dont see how people are saying omg PS3 2010 omg we loose we loose....theres a thing called multiplat's and a fair boatload of them have been more enjoyable than some exclusives.

Also imho Mass effect is just another RPG/Shooter hybrid to me and the fact im not a person who really cares for that kind of sci fi too much it just overall doesnt appeal to me in any way shoot me.
