2010 WORLDWIDE console sales

NDP is an accurate source even if it doesn't collect data from certain retailers. All that needs to be done is to extrapolate the data from NDP and you would most likely be within 2-3% of the real total sales. The same can't be said for VGcharts lol...anyone can just guess numbers and make a site about it.

How can you count it though? You could go with direct x10 or x11 cards sold but would still be inaccurate. Who buys it for gaming and who for work or whatever.

Tell that to Lems that are popping Moet over NPD sales lol. NPD is no more accurate than VG charts considering they skip several retailers.I see no problem in waiting though, fiscal reports will come soon enough. Nothing wrong with discussing what could be though.

PS3 out sold the 360 by a little over 400k according to failchartz. And they said the PS3 could overtake it this year, haha. At that rate it'd be the next gen before it did. Haha.Blixxed

I've said this from the very beginning, that's pretty much what's going to happen.Even if the PS3 outsells the 360 in total units this gen, by the time it happens, it will already be too late. In fact, it is already too late. It's not going to make one bit of difference except to frothing fanboys on the internet. The 360 has already done what MS needed it to do.

PS3 was the best selling HD console of 2010:D 2011 looks to be even better with the huge exclusive lineup. Bright days ahead for the PS brand indeed.

PS3 significantly outsold X360 in the first half of 2010. X360 marginally outsold the PS3 in the second half. It is shaping up

PS3 does have an excellent exclusive lineup in 2011.

Gotta say pretty amazing how the PS2 is still chugging.

I love how in NPD threads all the lems are claiming ownage because they sold more, yet now that someone uses VGChartz stating something different, well then it's a bogus source, and none of it's true. Admit it, you are only complaining because something is showing that your system lost in a Halo, new console, kinect year to a console, that is more expensive and didn't have a great year game wise. PS3 almost certainly outshipped 360 worldwide last year, of course; we already know it won the Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, and Jul-Sep quarters by a significant amount. But rest assured, whatever the results of Oct-Dec 2010, VGChartz is almost certainly completely wrong.
