I believe Miyamoto said something along the lines of "In today's day and age where graphics are photorealistic, hardware no longer has to be the prime focus." And then Nintendo proceeded to make the Wii U more powerful than the Wii. In short, it's all a load of bull.

And besides, the Wii U isn't even powerful at all. MS and Sony can just slap any contemporary PC hardware and it'll still be loads more powerful than the Wii U. The Wii U is 5 years too late in terms of hardware. You're wrong to assume that beating 5 year old hardware is gonna so difficult that MS and Sony will just pass on it.

MS and Sony probably will not invest billions in console development. Even if so, they can just use something in the market. And even then, it'll still humble the Wii.

Well, this made me laugh. I thought this would be about Tribes or something legit. But nope.

Considering the downfall of Zelda, the only game of NIntendo that interests me, WiiU may be the first home console that i wont buy

I only have 3 games for Wii and one of them is a GC game actually (Zelda TP) and the zeldas were good, but are no longer reason to buy a system since their quality has deteriorated and seem more of the same too

WiiU could well be the first home console system i will not buy in gaming history

Also holding a huge tablet while playing and having to look at it taking your eyes away from the game, could well be the worst idea in gaming history

Nintendo said that the Wii U will only "be slightly better than the 360 and ps3".

Nothing related to PS4 and the new Xbox which will be like the second coming of Jesus compared to the Wii:U:cool:

My hunches are Wii:U will be too late to the party, when you look at crysis/bf3 ultra max settings and will still produce kiddy cartoon games but with the few multiplatforms to help it in the gaming department.
