2012 so far is weakest gaming year since 2008

2008 was good. 2012 is meh.

EDIT: But if GTA V releases this year, then all will be well.

I have tons of great PS3 games to keep me busy over 2012 anyway, so there's nothing to cry about. Dude, this year has GTA V, The Last of Us, Halo 4, Max Payne 3, Resident Evil 6 and Diablo 3, so what are you crying about?

If Pikmin 3 and Rayman Legends release this year, then this could be a very monumental year for me.

My favourite franchise of all time has been absent for 8 years and is finally getting a reveal at E3. Some signs are pointing to Pikmin 3 being a Wii U launch title.

Then there's the sequel to this gen's best platformer. Rayman Legends' trailer was leaked a week ago and if its still being developed by Michel Ancel and Company this could be another platforming masterpiece.

Diablo 3 and possibly SC2 Hots are coming out this year so you're automatically wrong.

Lol what? This year we get PS All Stars, Halo 4, Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us (possibly this year) and GTA 5 (most likely this year) and plenty more. This is a good year for gamers.

And 2008 was great too: GTA4, Fallout 3, LBP (My personal 2008 GOTY), MGS4 ect...I don't know what's wrong with you.

I'm having a lot of fun this year.

And the ones I'm really excited for have yet to be released.

2012 seems to be the best year since 2007. 2010 was almost as good though.

Meh, I'll keep busy with Max Payne 3, Darksiders 2, Lollipop Chainsaw, RE6, Black Ops 2, Halo 4, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider and any unannounced games with release dates (Last of Us, God of War etc) this year. Not so weak to me.
