2017 is Looking Pretty Impressive for Gamers

Now, before you guys start flinging crap at me, I'm not going so far as to say that it will be 'the best year of gaming ever' as so many have said in previous years, but merely that it's looking impressive.First off we have all of the 2016 games that got pushed back such as Horizon and Mass Effect Andromeda among others. For Honor had a really fun Alpha demo and releases early next year. Sonic is making a classic comeback. Then Nintendo's new Switch system actually has potential this time around with the release of the new Zelda on both platforms.Later in the year we have Red Dead Redemption 2 and possibly Shenmue 3 hitting though odds of both of those getting pushed to 2018 are pretty high. Then of course, everything between.Next year marks Final Fantasy 7's 20th anniversary so having Remake land sometime next year is plausible. We may also see the likes of Ace Combat 7, God of War reboot, and Detroit BH.It's shaping up to be a great looking year. We'll wait and see how the games turn out and what's going to be delayed but the potential is pretty high.What are your thoughts?

Thats how 2010 and 2011 were back when ps3 was all the rage. That was cause most developer had their best ips finished by then.

Zelda and Nier 2 are pretty much day 1 territory for me.

But yeah, there are quite a few more titles I'm looking forward to.

Funny thing is that in recent years most of my favorite games have been the ones that pop up out of the blue. Like I'd have zero hype and then BOOM I'm having an awesome time.

The only thing I'm buying day one is Persona 5 and maybe Tales of Berseria if the reviews go well and even then Tales games go on sale quick so I'll probably wait. I bought Tales of Zestria for 40 like a month afterwards.

The rest I'll get through sales for sure:

In Sonic's case, there's no doubt it's going to end up being one of my favorite games of all time.

They have everything right about this so far. The music especially. It's just like it was only new. This will be the best sonic game since sonic and knuckles.
