It is IMO the best system ever, and right now, i'm playing my favorite SNES game in my DS, Chrono Trigger.

Congrats SNES you were really that good.

Yes, gaming did, in fact, die because i didn't let nostalgia blind my sense of perception.

They are actually. Good examples. And this is what, your fifth account now? You must be doing something wrong :( Too obvious, maybe?

Nah. I'd rather play a challenging session of Napolean: Total War where i'm 80 hours in and still havent beaten the campaign. I enjoy manually controling battles comprised of 5,000 vs 5,000 units with real-time physics of canonballs, bullets, and ballistics in greater than 1080p resolution.

But im sure thats way worse than 20 hour platformers on the SNES where the developers have rely on frustrating and cheap designs to artificially inflate the game's length.

What about going to play Demons Souls where you get killed evrey 5 minutes, or playing Company of Heroes that people back then probably couldn't comprehend would exist etc.

SNES was awesome. It's great to go back and play some of the cIassics, both to appreciate how fun they can still be and at the same time marvel at how far gaming has come.
