"Check in complete". Wow! That was intense!!!! I don't know if I can handle that level of stress every 24 hrs. Oh well, back to playing: Ryse, Quantam Break, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Metal Gear Solid V. Is everyone blowing the 24 hr. thing up a little too much? Or is everyone just looking for the smallest bit of news to flame? Used games? We still have details coming in about this also. E3 has been good so far but I think we will still have questions when the conference is over.

Dat damage control, what if I want to take my console and play it to a place that doesnt have interent? What if my interent cuts out? How about I buy a ps4 instead that is £80 cheaper, won't spy on me and has exclusives as well.

I am fine with it. The problem is once the game is loaded the HDD, it can be played without the disc. What is stopping me from trading in the game that I can still play long after I traded it? I used to do it on PC all the time and u see where that game market is dont you?

LOL how about in 3.2.1 oh shit can't connect to server? WTF my internet connection is working, why can't I connect? WTF I can't play my single player games in the mean time. Seems a pretty lame attempt at damage control and apologetics. If you don't get why a 24 hour server check is going to have all kinds of issue, just wait till issues like that arise and you will be wishing you hadn't supported it.

The problem is once the game is loaded the HDD, it can be played without the disc. What is stopping me from trading in the game that I can still play long after I traded it? FoxbatAlpha

Microsoft could implement serial codes like on PC, add a function to disable the game within an Xbox account for when we want to sell/trade it and allow us to verify the serials online. ^ What do you think of my system? Beats Microsoft's doesn't it?

The voice is overwhelming that its not ok. I don't have a problem because I'm always connected anyway and keep all my games so the used market is no existent to me. I realize there are others out there in different situations that can't have this. I just don't think people should be so outraged as this. It's a long way till November and a lot can change with a simple firmware update.

But you make the point that YOU are always connected so its not a problem for YOU, YOU dont buy or sell used games so its not a problem for YOU. Its a very arrogant argument to say that nobody else has a bad connection or interest in used games or that those claims are by a silent minority when in fact there is a vast amount of people with limited to nonexistent connections and people who cant or dont afford $60 a game when that game may be crap. A prime example of how this thinking is so wrong is like the people who reacted to the recent NSA scandal. They say thay "well im not doing anything wrong why should it matter to me", simple- this kind of thinking can be expanded much further when you just roll over and accept it. IF many people accept the xbox for the blatant anti consumer garbage that it is we are to blame for sending the message that it is ok for us to be held in a vice like that.
