Unlike Pokemon, the 4th versionsis the same (besides starting with different dogs), unlike pokemon where the newer versions add quite a bit of content..Sticking 2 pokemon games together (3 in the first case due to naming conventions) makes sense since they were essentially the same releases and simultaneous (which is why the special 3rd editions aren't mentioned along with them, so it makes sense for yellow to go alone.
However how have the figures for Nintendogs being compiled? Which versions were taken into account? One version was released after the others by a little while, so to also take it into account would not be fair.

Um, did you just say pokemon is NOT kiddy? Have you ever seen a sane adult in your life go buy a pokemon game!
Nintendog's is actually not kiddy. It's just way too casual.
Mario is just too old and worn out. I stopped playing anything with his name or image in the 80's.
It is safe to say that if xbox sold 100 million Halo 2 sales would be significantly higher as I personally know atleast 5-7 people who play halo constantly but do not own the game or xbox as they play at my house. All of them are willing to purchase Halo but cant justify the purchase of an xbox back near Halo 2 launch. The xbox 360 however is reaching a wider market than the original leaving room for Halo 3 to be a bigger success, having over a million preordes with less than half the userbase of Halo 2 launch supports that conslusion
if only....

My fav games from last gen were all rpg's as well (Shenmue, Fable, Morrowind, Jade Empire), but there is no way I would even try a Pokemon game. My 9 year old god son has been playing them on his DS for about 3 years, though.

Anyways, that list sort of depresses me. I don't know why exactly though.
Lmao, Pokemon is a scam, perpetuated on the world by Nintendo because your kid will cry until he owns the same game in two or three different carts with different colors on them.http://www.gunslot.com/blog/top-twenty-five-25-best-selling-video-games-all-time
