[QUOTE="Nerkcon"][QUOTE="Meu2k7"][QUOTE="michael582"][QUOTE="trix5817"] 25fps in Crysis is actually very playable. It's much, much more smooth than playing other games at that FPS. It feels like 35-40fps. Since when was 60fps required? Name one console game besides CoD4 that runs at 60fps? UT3 only runs at 30fps on consoles which is a joke!
Oh, and by the way, the PC had the most AAA/AA's last gen, and the most AAA/AA's this gen. You fail!

Alot of wii games run at 60fps.... Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, MOHH2....
They also dont look anywhere near the other 2 platform games, 60 FPS isnt needed for anything.
I personally would rather have more frames per second for smoother game play then more shinniness. The only thing I try to have high is landscape dissidents because being able to see enemies coming at you isobviously very important.
I agree to some extent, but I always aim for 40 not 60, as should most console games, anything more is just not needed.
Yar, the only games I know of that require more then 60 FPS (you need actually 120 fps) are all the games that run on the Quake 3 engine due to the fact that for some reason you need over 120 fps in order to do any sort of defragging or trick jumping.
And pretty much every console fps from last gen was 30 FPS wasn't it? Or something like that. 25 fps is pretty good and like many people have said already, you can just tone down graphics for better performance, or get better hardware.
