I don't understand why there's so much Fable 1 hate. It was a great game.

Darn-it I'm hyped enough and all this great news has me about ready to go sneak into the retailers warehouse and snag me a copy NOW ! :D

Lionhead and Microsoft Game Studios confirmed today that the online co-op "Fable II" multiplayer feature update is confirmed for a first day free download on Xbox LIVE, worldwide (21st October). We are pleased to provide "Fable II" fans around the world with the chance to hop in and out of their friend's "Fable II" worlds, to meet their heroes, dogs, spouses and experience Albion, together online. "Fable II" will be available at retailers throughout North America on October 21 and across Europe on October 24.

You would never have noticed, we could just have told you we'd be "switching on the servers" and gotten away with it. I think...

Oh, for what its worth, not even we at Lionhead have received our own personal retail copies... granted, we could always play it on the devkits... but there is nothing better than sitting on your own couch in your own living room and in your own pants (hopefully), playing the game on your own TV and handing the second controller to your own (well, hopefully) partner for coop.

Looks very nice, my only grips with what I have read ans seen is that morality seems to be completely black and white - just good and evil. As I play through The Witcher, im tending to wish more RPGs - or games with choices and consequences were a bit more complex... than lets say 'Bioshock' that critics raved about 'player morality', when it was (I have to say) extremely shallow.

Think GTA San Andreas style of multiplayer, however you can play through the singleplayer, not just dick around.

Online coop seems to be coming in the form of a patch.

Also the thing is you can look good on the outside, but be evil when no one is looking. It is more than just good and eveil. there are gray areas that you can go into.
