I hope GAME will be doing some 360 bundles with Fable 2, I was planning to re-purchase one later, but I might have to sooner.ONLYDOD
Play.com has some.

Your world where reviewers aren't corrupt is a beautiful beautiful lie.Jandurin
the main problem is that they adevrtise the stuff they review
If they only advertised food and tvs and stuff then there would be no need to question their crediblity. The worst people are the publishers though, look at what Ubisoft did
Very nice
edit: Those no name sites ''dailygame'' and the ''gamereactor norway'' dont belong in the same list as say IGN, Edge and eurogamer.
cmon man gamereactors reveiw is barly a page long!!

Publishers are going to want their things to be as perfect as possible in the eyes of consumers. I can't blame them. It's not a problem that they're willing to pay money to get better reviews, it's expected. It's a problem when that money or swag or whatever is accepted. The worst people are the publishers though, look at what Ubisoft did

You're kidding?
I'm looking forward to this game, but I don't know where I'm going to fit it in. I'm still on disk 1 of Lost Odyssey, and have barely touched Fight Night 3, Assassin's Creed, Kameo, and COD4. And cows say that the 360 hasn't had anything since Halo 3... I'm frickin' glad it hasn't, I'm swamped under with no hope of rescue!
[QUOTE="angelkimne"][QUOTE="EuroMafia"]Thanks for the heads up :)WTH, IGN UK = 9.5 !8.8 on IGN
Looks like my hype was right, but we'll see.

Maybe IGN US just didn't feel they garnered enough advertising dollars. :?
Really, this gen feels worse then any previous gen as far as - advertising $$$ having a effect on score given.
Lionhead studios are in the UK. Maybe they have tastes in gaming more closely related to one another.

I dunno but Fable 1 scored a 9.3 at IGN and many here think the game didn't deserve the 8.6 GS gave it so with IGN UK giving Fable 2 a 9.5 and Eurogamer at 10/10 this IGN US score just smells a bit funny is all.Nice to see some good scores, the Best Buy here has a sweet deal where you get a free copy of The Lost Chapters if you buy Fable 2 on day one. :DPBSnipes
Nice. The Lost Chapters can be played on the 360 right?
I was going to buy it at Circuit City and get a $15 itunes gift card.

Im not really looking to get an Elite, GAME always seem to bundle any games coming out with a 360 for a short period of time, and considering how big Fable 2 is for the 360 they will most likely have one.
I know - it's crazy! It wasn't trying to be like other RPGs, so why compare it? Fable II, on the other hand is going to rock the other RPG's fantasy worlds.Meh, i would have got it either way.
I don't understand why there's so much Fable 1 hate. It was a great game.
ukillwegrill
Also why is it that IGN always seems to come out with reviews for the big games before Gamespot?
Additionally - 91.2%: that's AAA, isn't it? Sweet - still got Gears of War II, Farcry 2, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, Killzone 2 and more to keep those AAA (hopefully) scores coming.

[QUOTE="FirstDiscovery"]IGN and TeamXBOX have killed score, lets see what GS doesangelkimneI think 9.0, but we'll see.Who knows, but i really doubt itll get 9.5

nah man that doesn't fly with some of the stuff they get up to
exclusive reviews if scores are high enough, putting pressure on reviewrs who give their games bad reviews (gerstmann), banning magazines from coverage outright (Ubisoft)
great scores. but not my type of game though. hate the art style.
probably 8.5 on GS. tops 9.0. no chance of a 9.5.
Well, if they like it as much as Eurogamer do, I don't see why not.great scores. but not my type of game though. hate the art style.

I SEEEE A PATTERN!!!!!
GS is a US based place, it will score lower
UK based places seem to like it me (thats good) so they get a better representation of a review
lmao
but if KevinV reviews it, I feel sorry for Fable 2.
Remember this from Fable 2 fan hype? "But, but, but teh world of Albion is so big and the main quest will be much longer than teh original Fable".
lol...it takes 10 hours to beat it if you rush through. Sound familar? The same thing was said about Fable 1, and a lot of people ended up beating in in far less time than 10 hours. I fully expect the same here. Oh, and I guess Molyneax didn't come up with a great story after all. I felt like I was reading the exact same review for Fable 1, except the world is a bit darker, and you have a dog...
impressive scoring. the 8.8 from IGN could really go either way. 9.0 or 8.5 here. Dreams-Visions
ahhh i dont know about this one now. I preordered the game thinking it was a high AAA RPG, now with the major reviewing souncres giving it high AA and some low AAA, i think i should have waiting for Fallout :(

You can beat Fallout 2 in about 2 hours. And that right there is my favorite all-time WRPG. just because you can, doesn't mean you will/should.

Lemmings asked for it though. The AAA hype. There was hardly any lemming who thought IGN would give the game less than 9. Lemmings saying the game would be an absolutely huge RPG taking 50 hours or more. Lemmings saying "you just haven't watched the preview videos...you have no clue what you're talking about". Lemmings still believing Molyneax after the Fable 1 debacle.

Fable one could be beat in like 3 hours, 8 hours if you took your time, so thats a pretty big improvement. Also Fable had little else to do in the way of side quests which is not the case for Fable II according to reviews.
