I wish developers could make Halo's matchmaking system a standard. Gears of War is pathetic in comparison to it.

Is it really that hard. If M$ were smart they would go up to bungie tell them to hold a weekend course for programmers and teach them the things they need to have a fluid, easy and simple online interace that made finding games simple. 

That doesn't even make sense, why would DMC 4 being on one platform do anything? The two consoles, ps3 and 360 are reallly not that different at all. There would pretty much be no difference whatsoever. HeyHeyMyMy

You're very wrong. If DMC was exclusive to the PS3, Capcom would take advantage of the Sixaxis, Blu-Ray, and a variety of other things--the same can be said if it was exclusive to the 360.

i mean that i got owned. i hyped all the games in my sig AAA, it flopped to me. but between that and guitar hero 2 i havent played any other game since SPM. it is uber amazing.

the games could be 95% crap to 5% quality.

in fact, because its so up in the air, that makes the wii the WORST console. most games could suck. whereas, with the 360 and ps3, you can generally tell a quality title from miles away.

that is EXACTLY like the PS1 and PS2, and my guess is that it worked out for them...  and no. nowadays developers have found a way to flop the greatest looking games (Zelda, Lost Planet, Resistance, etc.)

Its not WoW's fault that people (*caugh* Turbine *caugh*) suck at copying it. It MADE the last generation of PC games by bringing MMORPGs into the main stream.

To TC, i would say that's a great post.  I dont agree with some of what you say but I understand where you're coming from.  I also agree with idea that a multiplat game could never really innovate.  I personally am a sheep so I'll add a make and break game for the wii:

Make:

Project HAMMER: why? because this is a first party nintendo game, a totally new game, and one that will use complete wii functionality as you swing a hammer around.  It might be the best action game on the wii because it will have the motion sensing qualities of wiisports.  It will be shining example for 3rd parties to follow.

Break:

No More Heroes: this is a sword fighting game coming to the wii.  I personally have lost faith that the wii can do swordfighting.  There will be hype and disappointment, and yet another 3rd party developer will suffer
