Developers fault maybe ? not having alot of games for one genre makes gamers lower their standards unfortunately, this generation running fast, with few games each year, this year has major boost in quantity though, games wise I mean, the missing genre is the RPG, still.

Hmm..while I will certainly play Fable 2 at some point, it's a backburner game for me.

IMO, the PC has RPG's on lockdown this year.

Dragon Age alone will take the RPG crown, along with Space Siege, The Witcher Extra Content package, NWN2 Modules, Multiplats such as Fallout 3 and Mass Effect, and a few MMORPG's like Warhammer, Lich King, Requiem, Pirates, and a few others wil make 2008 a great year for PC RPG.
