360 Boys, Try and Find One 360 game that looks nearly as good as Uncharted 2

If Uncharted 2 was getting compared to last gen games on the original xbox, then I would be impressed.

How come I've been seeing posters here...posting that Gears 2 looks just as good, as Uncharted 2, when absolutely NOTHING on a 360 console comes close to surpassing Killzone 2 in graphics...and Uncharted 2 surpassed, Killzone 2 in graphics. :?

I can't believe this topic lasted so long, it's obvious flamebait and you should all know it.

Forza 3 can't be compared and Gears of War 2 can't even beat Killzone 2.

Maybe next year there would be a 360 game compared to it or even 2011, but not now.

They really cant. Considering Uncharted 2 is the best looking console game.

You guys keep sayin Gears 2, but I was playing it a couple weeks ago, and it looked horrible. I dont know why, but it just didnt seem to age well in a year. Honestly, I think Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts might look better than Gears 2. Also, why doesnt anyone talk about Ratchets graphics? That game is gorgeous. It may not be that fun but it is very nice lookin.

Gears of War 2 looks really close imo, but I've never seen them in motion running side by side. Isn't that story about the gf thinking Uncharted is a movie in a commercial?WithoutGraceXII

When GeoW1 was still the top dog, did anyone seriously believe that it would never be topped, or that the PS3 was incapable of topping it? But now KZ2 or UC2 is top dog and we're expected to believe that the 360 can't and won't.... seems strange to me.

C'mon guys i'm seeing alot of threads in here comparing such things as the 360's GPU to the PS3's GPU, and Comparing Tekken 6 360 screens to PS3's, i'm sorry but it's a lost battle for 360.

It all depends on the developer and which one of them has more mastered the dev kit of the PS3 and Naughty Dog is definitely one dev whose mastered developing on PS3, there is nothing on 360 that even comes close to it.

Honest example, the other night, my wife, who has never had a console preference in her life and could care less about them, walked in the room right after an Uncharted 2 commercial started and she stopped to watch it and said " Oh wow what movie is this, it looks good "...and then she saw the PS3 logo at the end of it and said to me " thats the new Uncharted game you've been talking about ? damn that looks amazing "

So c'mon lets be honest what 360 game has ever looked so realistic that someone thought it was a live action movie ?

they cant, uncharted destroys anything xbox currently has in graphics and some others areas, and i it had race cars it would play better than forza 3 :lol:

Besides, there's 360 games coming out that might be on level with PS3 in graphics.

Firstly this thread was only about graphics not how many people play online on Halo. Secondly, as a gamer, i seriously couldn't care less if 700,000 people played Halo 3 online because whenever I play uncharted online, or cod5 online, I always find a game, granted it may take a a bit longer to actually find the games, At the end of the day, I'll still enjoy the multiplayer experience even if there aren't as many people playing online because the teams are limited to 10/12 anyway. so unless if there were 100,000 a side all out wars or something, your point is useless.

The only thing better looking than Uncharted 2 is Crysis maxed out, so lets stop now. The 360 doesnt have a graphics king but who freakin cares. No one. It still has some great games that came out this year, as well as the best racing game.

To those talking about Gears 2, I was watching that a few days ago and while it certainly looks great, tell me I'm not alone when I say the art kinda hurt it a bit. I think a better art direction would have helped it. As for TC, there isn't a 360 game that looks as good as Uncharted 2. However, why does that matter? Its not like there is a PS3 game that looks as good as Crysis, it doesn't degrade the games.

I beg to differ, GEARS 2 looks superb, and is up there with KZ2 for sure, and Crysis 2 will surpass UC2 if the Cryengine 3 demo is anything to go by :)

If I go by his response, it was an opinion assuming he's played Uncharted 2. unlike you said, I could get 10 people to play this game who's owned an Xbox 360 since the start if this generation, and they would all agree, by no means...this game looks miles better than Gears of War 2. His response is a biased opinion for making sucha random comment that is clearly visible to the human eye.

But then again, Im not forcing him to agree on an obvious matter. Anybody is entitled (sp) to their own opinions...and sometimes I forget this SW. But he wouldn't have his leg cut off for simply giving credit where its due for such a fantastic game, that sometimes I despise the fact that its exclussive.
