[QUOTE="rybe1025"][QUOTE="Meu2k7"][QUOTE="rybe1025"][QUOTE="cobrax75"][QUOTE="rybe1025"][QUOTE="Infinatey"]That mad me laugh. Which do you think is the bigger market? I am sure they would be real upset if it sold to Halo base then the RTS base considering how well Halo sells.Halo Wars-1up says that rts lovers might not like it, but halo lovers would.
Meu2k7
the RTS base is much bigger....look at how popular Starcraft and C&C are.
Can you find the sales then? I could not. Only RTS sales I could find was Warcraft 2 another big RTS and that was 2.16 million.Whoa seriously you have to be really ignorant to think Halo fanbase is bigger than a whole genres ...
Never said one game is bigger then every RTS game combined. Thx though for acting like such a angry hermit and using personal insults. I have not been able to find any where to see how much Starcraft or CnC3 have sold. So as of right now I think Halo 2 for example has sold more then each of those games.Angry? And Ignorant is an insult now? ... Ironic? :S
Starcraft 1 has sold more than any Halo game.
Quite funny really, you are comparing one of the only great exclusives of the Xbox 1 Generation , the only real decent FPS it had unique ... its most marketed game ... to a genre on a platform where RTS games are abundant ... the community is more split.
That makes sense that Starcraft would sell more than Halo. Many more people have PC's than Xboxes. If you compare the ratio of copies of Halo sold to Xboxes sold, its probably almost 1:1. Again though, marketing Halo Wars mainly to Halo fans makes sense, as the Halo fanbase amoung Xbox owners is much larger than the RTS fanbase amoung Xbox owners.
