[QUOTE="organic_machine"][QUOTE="Heil68"][QUOTE="Blackbond"]Heli you can't be serious? Considering how Halo 2 with a higher score lost to Half Life 2 with a lower we all know that the higher PC standards exist.
Now as to why one is 9.6 and one is 9.0. Look at the new scoring system. There is no .1 intervels anymore but only .5's
Might as well take into consideration that the game came out much later. I mean RE4 Wii edition is the best version of RE4 yet it scored 9.1 and not 9.6
naval
We do? Why did Orange box scoe the same? Why did CC3 pretty much score the same? So what your saying is those games are actually better than that..got ya.The new scoring system with .5 incriments almost (key word: ALMOST) completely depletes the standards. But, FYI, Pc DOES have higher standards, but for differing reasons than what most are thinking. The standards have not as much to do with the qualit, but more so with quantity. See, there are many more games coming out on PC every year. That is why PC games are rated more strictly.
actually it has to do with both quality and variety of shooters imo
Well, it is not strictly one or the other, but I think there is a much stronger pull reason-wise towards the quantity. eve though both come into play.
For example, lets just pretend that the 360 only gets two good FPS a year. They are rated high, because there are only two of them. But lets say the PC gets more. they are rated less, because there is a lot more of them. So quality and quantity play a role. Though I think quantity more so.
