If you look at all the consoles this gen, the PS3 is being outdone by it's competitors 1. PS3 is being outsold by the 360 and Wii 2. in terms of A, AA, and AAA games the 360 is dominating the PS3 3. XBL: i will gladly pay for a superior online service that has more and better features 4. Kinect: the games are outscoring Move games by a ton, and it's actually fun once you get in front of it 5. MS makes sure and spends money on timed DLC and games which 360 users get FIRST, where as Sony hardly ever spends any money on stuff like that I think it's very clear that the 360 is dominating the PS3 this generationXBOXSTRONG

I would hardly consider either console dominating the other. They're pretty much neck and neck in terms of sales and highly rated games. IMO PSN is better because its free and they offer an optional paid subscription with goodies. I dont need or use all the stuff on XBL and in fact I feel like sometimes they're almost shoving it down my throat. Again I could care less about Kinect or Move, as they're mainly geared towards casual audiences. In the end, its a tie because each has their advantages and disadvantages.

im not gonna comment on the rest of your post but this is just a flat out lie, the majority of the xbox's library is BC yes but its not "full BC" that would imply that every game can be played on your 360 which is just not true, there is a reason why microsoft has a list of games that run on the 360 from the xbox era, because not all of them will

Neither of them are dominating. The Wii is dominating as far as sales are concerned, but the gap between 360 and PS3 is so small that it's actually sad when cows and lemmings claim "domination"

And the PS3 is still behind the 360 in high scoring exclusives. The metagame is determined on AAE+ retail games, from my understanding. But it had a reasonably solid year (at least the first half), considering 1 of those AAAEs and 6 of those AAEs are from this year alone.

Timed DLC and Kinect as plus points is a total joke when you compare the 1st party lineups of the two. Live...well. You're thrilled to pay for it, mr 10 posts and that's all that counts. Lolmuffins. Sales isn't right, PS3 has been more popular than the always cheaper 360. I wouldn't assert the reverse is true, in fact the consoles have been tediously close in every area of comparison.

that was inevitable, Sony had momentum going into this gen. MS knew this and is why they knew that they had to release early in order to get there console recognized. Overall Sony has been doing a lot worse than last generation, while MS is doing much betterXBOXSTRONG

'DOMINATING' in all caps is a little too extreme in my opinion. The Wii is DOMINATING the PS3 and 360 in sales but the 360 isn't DOMINATING the PS3 (at least in worldwide sales).

BTW, I feel it is a little redundant to say this generation...cuz i'm pretty sure both the 360 and PS3 didn't exist last gen lol.
