second, I dont think anybody but you thinks gears 2 will outsell games like gta 4 or SSBB, or even GT5.

third, just because ps3 got 14k(in a small market) for 1 week doesnt mean its done there(360 sells like 3k there every week), its at the same level as saying 360 its done in america cuz ps3 outsold it for 2 months.

4th, Im sure 360 doent kill ps3 in software sales in europe, it does in america since it has a way bigger userbase, but games like DMC, which are multiplat, have sold more on ps3.

I live in the US and have no loyality to MS so why would I care about what happens in other parts of the world when it comes to video game consoles? The way I see, the 360 is a getting a great variety of amazing games and has been since its launch in 2005. Much better selection than the original XBOX IMO and the best selection of games to date for this generation.

Quite a few? No. And resistance was 2006. If you would read, Samba stated that in '07 Sony produced enough IPS. As someone else stated- there is never enough. ;)

I wouldn't say it's on it's last legs, but I do agree there don't appear to be many original and exclusive sounding games coming out for it, most games are multiplat and all the others are inivitable sequels, like the ones you mentioned. To be honest though, PS3 doesn't have that many either. Sadly my friend had to do that. Something fried in his 360 and MS wouldn't accept that as a fault of the system or something like that so he just went out and bought a new 360.

I agree. There is a difference between great new IPs ala Mass Effect, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc and then average to below average flops like the majority of these will become.

My Crystal Ball says Haze, Heavy Rain, The Agency, Free Realms, Wardevil, WKS, Echdrome and Home are all 10.0 and define the face of history. FOR EVER! I can make predictions too! :D

Don't kid yourself, the biggest titles this year are sequels, and that goes for all consoles

The future of the 360 is looking bleak. It already has hardly any games that are not superior on PC and/or PS3, but of the exclusives it does have coming later this year, most are going to be massive flops like Too Human and Banjo Threeie. Everything else is just going to be boring rehashes. We'll see a ton of predictable trilogies, we'll be recieving games like Bioshock 2 and 3, Gears of War 2 and 3, Mass Effect 2 and 3, Fable 2 and 3 etc while new IPs begin to die out.

For the rest of the generation we will see the Halo brand name milked even further to try and ignite 360's inevitable drop in worldwide sales. Halo Wars will probably become a trilogy as well and we'll likely see more Halo spinoffs and milkages.

Now developers are really getting used to the PS3 hardware, the multiplats that matter will also be superior on PS3, while PS3's exclusives destroy what 360 has to offer in terms of exclusives this year. 360 had one year that didn't completely suck in 2007, but it is only going to go downhill from here, while PS3 takes over and 360 relies on stale rehashes and Halo milkages just to keep its life support going.TheMysticHorse

1.) No matter what happens 360 is never in trouble because MSoft said they were not intending to make a profit till the third system.

2.)A majority of the time multiplats are superior on 360 and sell better on 360. In the case of Manticores 360 is the obvious version because I would buy the version that goes along with the superior online service that I am paying for as opposed the inferior online none of their friends use that has barely any voice chat.

3.)PS3's only notable game this year is more of a rehash then anything you mentioned. MGS4. A snoozefest with ultra slow gameplay rewarding you only with overly-lengthy cutscenes and a convoluted retarded story.

4.) Gears 2 will be bigger then any PS3 game this year so just get over it.

5.) PS3 has been outselling 360 in hardware BY A SLIM MARGIN. Unfortunately for you at this rate they will not catch 360 by the time this thing is over. The lead is just too large.

No, I cannot say that not one person had a PS3 issue but the percentage is still lower than the 360's constant failures. Please, do not ask me to back up *so-called* facts because you haven't given me *facts* in return. I'm stating MY opinion. I would have gotten a 360 over a PS3 if the online service was free and you didn't have to pay for everything. But then again, I made the right decision with Sony and I know the PS3 will eventually dominate the 360 when the right time comes.

Hey tc i think you need a reality check. First of All the 360 brand produced the most revenue in 2007. Had far better games than ps3. And this year is looking just as great gamewise. And what else are we supposed to use to judge a system other than games? None of us get commission for how many units are sold. The only thing that we as consumers should care about in regards to a gaming system is the games. And as of right now the ps3 is getting owned by the 360. Proof Below
