360 loses yet another exclusive!! (Alan Wake)

Trust me this is the only place that cares about this stuff :lol:

The truth is that console gaming is more popular than PC gaming. Yes pc gaming is still relevant and always will be with a sizable fanbase but it isn't as popular as consoles.

So in the real world all the casual console-seeking player will care about is which console will I be able to play this game on. And that's the 360.

You have to understand that many people will not want to involve themselves in the "PC culture" which is radically different than the simple plug and play "console culture" just to play this game. To deny this is just being a fanboy :lol: This place cracks me up :lol:

Its funny because you are doing the exact same thing you blast me for doing. We don't have any way of knowing if exclusives matter when making a console purchase. What I do know is that the best Multiplats out sell exclusives most of the time and by a wide margin. You have bought into the Sony marketing speak of thinking that exclusives will save the console. Times have changed and Sony still has not figured it out hence why they are lagging.

Alan Wake going to PC is great talk for SW but in the grand scheme of gaming it is so meaningless.

To play games exclusive or not. I own both consoles so the whole exclusive thing to me is irrelevant. I buy games on whichever console I think they will be better on. I would also never wait 2 years to buy a game I wanted to play.

I thought it is believe that all xbox 360 games, end up coming to the PC, so in theory, xbox exclusives aren't exclusives, just timed, since 83% of all titles has gone to another platform

MS is still the publisher, but the reason why Remedy is porting it to the PC is because the game didn't sell very well on the 360. It was a 360/PC game, but MS got a little supportive of trying to get the 360 an exclusive, but it wasn't enough.

The logic used for this thread is super smart haven't you heard? Those smart PC gamers that wanted Alan Wake knew it would eventually come to their platform and now that it has Msoft is teh doomed.

the reason they are releasing it on the PC is because the 360 sales were so terrible that they didn't get permission from MS to release a full retail sequel, instead it's only an XBLA title... and console gaming is more popular than PC but not in this case LMFAO

Wonder why they are releasing it now? Should have came out at the same time as the 360 version. Great game BTW.

So now the only thing interesting left on the 360 is Halo

Also I doubt they'll make much money if it does get realease, I'm pretty sure a lot of PC gamers were pissed off when they decided to make it for xbox360 only and now are just trying to milk the pc crowd after it failed to sell well on console
