The thing is that it ain't just people posting numbers and then they wait for NPD to come. They make one prediction and comment why, then everyone else may make their own prediction within that thread.

Pachter has proven that he doesn't know much about predicting the game business. He has struck lucky once or twice, but anyone can do that if you spew enough prediction.

I could make a thread, predicting all kinds of stuff and sure i will be right about atleast 2.
