360 owners: are you eventually going to buy a PS3? (and vice versa)

Had every console last gen and I had a 360 but sold it after disc drive issues and destroying 4 of my games. Had a similar disc reading issue with my original Xbox as well. I'm sticking to my PS3 been on for a week none stop and never had a problem. I don't forsee going back to the 360 until they fix the hardware issues and have more exciting games like Dead Rising and any NON-FPS games.hiryu3

right now there is no reason for me to own a PS3...The few titles that the PS3 has that have any interest does not offset the 400+ $to get..

For me the 360 has all the games i want to play and has not had one hardware failure...RROD is an urban legend to me..

Not interested in a PS3. Xbox 360 has all my games I need. Im not a fan of Metal Gear Solid and I never really liked the first Killzone. I like Forza Motorsport better than GT. Grand Theft Auto is coming out on the same day and has some exclusive contents on the 360 version.Dont really like Japanese RPG's, instead I likewestern RPG's like Mass Effect. I dont mind paying for Xbox Live when in the end, I know Im having a blast online with my friendsThe 360 has a great controller, I cant imagine playing another game with out it. Ilove my 360 the same way I loved my PS2. I dont plan on buying a PS3 in the near future because I dont need more than 1 console to make me happy.Farzan777

The gap between PS3 owners who plan to buy a 360 and PS3 owners who don't plan to buy a 360 is wider than the gap between 360 owners who plan to buy a PS3 and 360 owners who don't.

The data also indicates that there are more 360 owners on this board than PS3 owners.

Personally, I own both consoles already b/c I can't miss some killer apps on both platforms.

My "validation" is in my reply to the TC question..."To me" the PS3 does not currently haveany games "I" want to invest in.."To Me" I have not had any hardware issues with my 360.. Where did I fall shot of valation?..This is my opinion and experience.... how is this really that hard to understand??

Try to learn some comprehension skills and read what people write in there entirety and maybe...just maybe..you can avoid being that guy and avoid embarrassing moments such as this

Same here... well that and MGS4.. I Don't like sim racing games (bought Forza 2 and sold it a few months later), So GT5 will be a pass. And there's nothing coming out for the PS3 that I can't get (in some form) for the X360. It's got the FPS genre down! It's got the Fighting game genre down! (with DOA4, VF5 and soon SF4 and SC4 what more do you need). It's getting the action/adventure genre down with DMC4 and NG2! (Those are my favorite two A/A games and I only need one system to play em). The only other genre the 360 doesn't have is platformers.. but honestly after playing Mario Galaxy, I'm not too interested in future games in the genre.
