hmm seems some people are being turned off by this game cause they think its a small side scrolling jumping game..

Since Halo's Forge is closest we got to this, I'll try to compare. Forge was good, for about an hour. After that it's a complete chore. You go through all the new fancy stuff pretty quick, and after the intial euphoria it's pretty dull. LBP is going to feed off constant creativity sure, but can you consistently have fun when you know you have to keep coming up with your own ideas? Sure you can download others', but even in Halo I did not find much satisfaction playing other people's levels because: I did not know what their intent was, was not familiar with equipment/items and their layout, and most were lackluster. Not saying Forge is close to LBP, but they are the same concept at least. hopesfall2own

I don't have a PS3 but I feel that same way. Its funny, I say the game looks cool and like it will be alot of fun... but I honestly have no clue what the game is or how it plays. At first it seemed like some sort of platformer. Then I thought it was like a platformer with a Sonic the Hedgehog debug code permanently turned on.

Now I really have no clue. But it does look cool! Really, I think its the fact that a developer has invested alot of time and effort into making a hq title thats going to have to rely on gameplay to be good since there are no chainsaws, shotguns, swords or decapitations involved at all.
