360 owners only: Did/Do you own a PS2?

I've seen several mentions to people saying that third party games that only appeared on PS2 will continue to only show up on PS3 since it's the same fanbase.  Clearly games like RE5 show that's not quite the case. 

I thought it would be interesting to see how many 360 owners here purchased Playstation games at some point.

I'm a huge Playstation fan and I couldn't resist getting a 360. Its finally getting a good variety of games.

no. I've never owned a sony console, I've had hardcore hate for sony ever since playstation 1 and the crappy other products I've bought from them that break. I've been with Nintendo since I started gaming, and after palying my friend's xbox games I decided to get a 360 this gen too.FlawlessSeasons

Wow, you missed alot of great games in the last 10 years. Some of the most artistic and original titles to ever be released on a console. Your asinine hatred for a company has cost you alot of fun.

PS2 owner. Future PS3 owner. Wii owner. Loved my PS2, it might have been the best system of all time, next to the SNES of course.psyko7144

Truly the SNES and PS2 stand as the two best consoles ever released. I wouldn't dare rank them, instead they should both be number 1.

I didn't have a PS2. I only had a Gamecube last gen :cry:

Yes both PS1 and PS2,for me the PS1 was the best console created.I started having doubts about Sony when the PS2 came out with all this Emotion engine hype,and started to think that the success of the PS1 had gone to their heads.Plus the fact that I had 3 PS2 including a slimline model and all the DVD lasers broke(disk read error!!).

So my PS1 still works after nearly 10 years but none of the PS2 do and are in console heaven(or hell)

In all honesty, this is gonna sound really fanboyish...I never owned a ps2 cause it was so easily accessible with all my friends owning one...When I saw DOA3 on xbox and grabbed that huge "duke" controller I was hooked...haven't looked back since...I did own a gamecube at launch but the games were crap except for Eternal Darkness so I traded it in for the box...colmusterd28

Never bought a single Sony console. But was given a PS1 with games and remotes for free.

But I have it packed up in my closet. :P
