I give it less than a year. It's rather funny how Sony is trying to reject it though. Why don't they go over to Digital Distribution? All they need is one single copy. Not millions. It'd cut the costs, and they'd probably earn 35% more.

Me neither. I'll probably get Fallout 3 on PC since it's GFW, so there's no reason to get it on the 360 for achievements. Mirror's Edge will probably play best on consoles though.

While I'm not sure that's entirely true, I'm pretty sure Naruto isn't going to do anything for the console war, and I'm a little confused as to why Motorstorm is being listed. It didn't do all that much for the PS3 the first time, so I doubt it will the second time around, either. Besides, in terms of racing exclusives, it's really just a Forza vs. Gran Turismo battle anyway.

Just like with Wii Sports, Wii Play, and MGS4, a big part of Motorstorm's success in the sales dept. was the fact that it was bundled with something; in this case, the first 80 gig PS3. Either way, I'm sure it'll sell fairly well, but there's generally a difference between games that sell vs. games that change the public's opinion about a system. Games like Gears and MGS4 gave their respective consoles...well, respectability for lack of a better word. My guess would be that Motorstorm will be something PS3 owners will be happy to buy, but not necessarily a game that will factor in to too many non-PS3 owners' reasons to pick up the console. Then again, that's just my guess.

You can't expect all those games to be great either. Most companies are spitting out 7.5/8 games which really aren't anything special in my book. And in regards to interface...XMB is way better than anything the XBox has had or most likely will have after the new one is implemented. Or does it mean 50% less people will buy a ps3 and instead buy a 360 because Gears2? Either way, it makes no sense. To be honest, if people can call Resistance: Fall of man mediocre, then him calling Gears mediocre makes just as much sense.
