360 Setups vs PS3 setups vs Wii setups..

 I never said the Wii was worth getting a HDTV for, I said there is a difference between the Wii on a SDTV and the Wii on a EDTV/HDTV.  Hell, you have a 360, if anything get a HDTV for that.

 No, they are not co-related, you can play GT4 on the PS2 in 1080i but it still looks like crap.  The technical limitations of a console is not the same as a console running on a HDTV.

 I never said the Wii was worth getting a HDTV for, I said there is a difference between the Wii on a SDTV and the Wii on a EDTV/HDTV.  Hell, you have a 360, if anything get a HDTV for that.

It's something PC gamers have known for a long time - putting a game with poor graphics in super high def just shows off better how murky textures are and how sloppy models are, making the benefits rather dubious.  In the final estimation,  a lot of PC gamers I know were playing games like the original Tribes or Mechwarrior 3 in lower definition simply because the textures looked like puke in high definition, and it showed off the bumpy edges on polygons more.

I've showed my setup, and I'm still chuckling at anyone who owns an HDTV for the Wii. Have fun all.

  NO, I SAID, stay with me here, the graphical limitations has little to do with being played on a HDTV, when you play someting on a HDTV, it increases the resolution of the game being played, HDTV has nothing to do with graphical limitations, its the power of the console that limits it, not the HD.
