360 has been so lame in the last 2 years, that i'd rather own a wii, just think it has 1 AAA exclusive going on 2 years now, wtf happend?

Yep, nothing can beat Sony's PlayStation. Maybe next gen MS, but start of with good hardware at least.

No. I would say the 360 has "plateaued". ^Wows, a Frenchy-sounding word with more vowels than consonants, check it out.

So with Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears 2 ect in the last 2 years the 360 sucks........ Nevermind, its not worth it.

xbox360 has no games for 2009 , there are virtually no interesting exclusives in the horizon for the console. Judging from the reviews, it seems most of the hyped AAA games for the xbox fall flat. Halo wars is average, Star Ocean 4 mediocre, Ninja bLade crap, what else ? oohh wait for npd i guess hehe

So lame? Gears 2 was amazing. It still has the multiplats and dlc that Playstation isn't getting. I'd say 360 owners had a good 2 years.

Haha you're right, I don't know what the 360 fanboys have to look forward to now, I mean they can't even provide a good counter arguement it's funny to watch them pretend they don't care that what was such a great console has no future what so ever. If someone responds to this post then it will be no doubt about how great the 360 was in 07, so why not change the record and amaze me with some of the fantastic exclusives you're going to be playing in the next few months.

No, the 360 has had 9 AAA exclusives released in the past 2 years that do not appear on any other console. 94: Halo 3 93: Gears of War 2 93: Braid 91: Mass Effect 90: Portal: Still Alive 90: Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned 90: Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 90: Forza Motorsport 2 90: Left 4 Dead On the other hand, the PS3 has had only 2 AAA exclusives released that do not appear on any other console. 95: LittleBigPlanet 94: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots I could also add Gears of War to the 360 AAA list, but that came out just over 2 years ago, so I guess does not count. I could also add The Orange Box to the 360 list as well, since the 360 is the only console it appears on as an AAA title. 96: The Orange Box (360) 89: The Orange Box (PS3) But I will not. You are right though. It must be really tough for the 360, outselling the PS3 2 to 1 every month, having the highest attach rate of any console in history, getting exclusive DLC for all the biggest games, having an unbeatable online service that destroys the competition, having the superior version of every multiplatform game, and so on.

At this point the ps3 has more or less caught up. THe "ps3 has no games" argument no longer applies. There both great systems i just feel that the war is starting to turn

For system wars perpouses, and the meaning of the word you are correct. However, in the real world, a game that can be played on the xbox and not the PS3 is a plus.

Ok.. Mass Effect is AA on the 360, not AAA L4D is AA GTA L&D is DLC and wasn't even reviewed Braid is not a retail game Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved........ are you serious...! That leaves Halo 3 Gears 2 and ........... Forza : / Also you forgot Resistance 2 is AAA and Killzone 2 will be AAA

I think the OP make a typo when he said "the last two years". That includes 2007 which was the defining year for the 360. His comments do apply to 2008 and, so far, 2009. In 2008, 360 games were mostly overhyped. A couple came out pretty good but they were all RPGs. Gears of War 2 and Braid were the only games to really hold any water. So far, 2009 is looking like more of the same except Gears 3 wont be out. Star Ocean and Halo Wars are continuing the trend of overhyped games. So what is left...another Halo? This really should be of no surprise to anyone. They are essentially sitting in a Halo-Gears-Mass Effect-Forza rotation. Their real success has been to get PS2 exclusives to go multiplatform. Getting GTAIV and FF13 alone was huge. Think of how many more PS3s would have been sold if GTAIV was a PS3 exclusive. The problem is, over time, multiplatform titles cant carry the day. They have to somehow figure out how to get some more console defining exclusives out instead of spamming a genre with average titles like they have done to JRPGs recently.
