They should have recalled the product, redesign it put it back on shelves.

Now its too late, they are too deep in the crap and recall cost of ~30mil units would be a catastrophy, the extended warranty is way cheaper compared.

Hope consumers learn something from this, and authorities should smack MS with a HUGE lawsuit.

Sorry, but cars have more problems than any console. I havent bougt a new car in 15 years that did have somthing go wrong with it in the first 12 months. My dads Mercedes is only 2 years old and it's allready had to go for repairs 3 times.
