If PS3 ends up selling more than 360, then I can totally see Microsoft abandoning the 360 and then putting out the xbox 720 like 3 years b4 the PS4 to compete...4 year lifespan I'm guessing with the 360 just like the original Xbox

I would much prefer a new X360 in 4 or even 3 years. Why the hell would I want to play outdated looking games on my console for 8 years considering how quickly graphics technology is moving.

MS lost 4 Billion. I mean, they did the best that they could for the consumers to be happy and at the same time they gained fandom. If somebody took money an run last gen those were the Gizmondo guys.
