360 version of FFXIII has missing features

They're not confirmed for the PS3 ver. The interview suggests they weren't even aware people wanted them.

NO!! The English VO's are guaranteed to suck :( I'd rather have no voice acting at all if it's done by some random bums and soccer moms from the street.

Ugh, this is why I hate coming to System Wars and Gamespot in general.

Big deal, the 360 version won't get the japanese voice over; too bad America speaks english. Please don't act as if you're are going to get more enjoyment out of Japanese voice overs than you are your DEFAULT LANGUAGE. Even if the American voice overs are cheesy, most people in the western world aren't fluent in Japanese. If you can speak fluent Japanese, then you'll be too busy translating in your head to actually be having fun and enjoying the story. Besides for all you know, the Japanese VO could be horrible, you'd only notice if you'd been exposed to different Japanese dialects to know the difference between good and bad.

This just a pathetic attempt at trying to justify your purchase of the PS3 (I have no problem with the PS3, BTW)

Lemmings are getting FFXIII, big deal. It just means more money for Square Enix, which means more games for everybody.

Don't act the PS3 is more capable than the 360. So far, we've seen that they're are both able to produce stunning looking games. It all depends on the developer. Like last generation, each console this generation has shown the capability to produce great looking games (yes, this includes the Wii).

Cows seem to forget a little thing called compression.

So please stop trying to claim superiority over your electronics, it's pointless. Does knowing that WHAT YOU THINK is the superior console make the games more fun or something?

Seriously though, it's not that big of a deal. Japanese are going to get the PS3 version anyway, so it really wasn't needed in the 360 version.

OMG no Japnese voice overs! The 360 version of FFXIII is going to fail hard.

I don't even speak the language... besides it's not a game series that I enjoy, so i won't be getting it.

Oh and MGSIV only takes up the space that it does because it has the same data on the disc multiple times and alot of the data is uncompressed, because of the godawful reading speed of your ALMIGHTY BluRay Player.

Old, news and yes it's a big deal to some of us.

1: I've never experienced "perfect" english VO yet.

2: While the same could be said for *** VO, not understanding the language makes it a lot harder for me to detect.

3: So basically my EnglishVOFaildetector is a hell of a lot more sensitive than for any other language besides danish.

I wouldn't really call that a missing feature exactly. Its more of an extra if you ask me. Anyway, SE generally does a pretty good job with their English VO's so its not really anything to be worried about unless you're one of those people who simply cannot stand English VO's whether good or bad.

Nice. :DI like subs better then dubbs. But I don't think its anything we can say lays down ownage or anything. Just a nice benefit of bluray

I don't think missing the original Japanese voice over for the Xbox 360 is going to be a big deal in the US. According to a census from 2000, there are approximately 480,000 people in the United States that speak Japanese out of 215,000,000 Americans. If 500K people really want the Japanese Voice Over, they can just get the PS3 version.

Ok..

If nothing else, I appreciate that when the two main characters chat it up a bit about life and emotions in general, I'll be able make it less cringeworthy when they start laughing together.

I might care if I was going to play this game, turn based battles are not my thing
