360s better at watching movies than teh ps3

well since i bought my 360 to play games i coulnt care less if it played dvds and stuff

but all cows bought the ps3 for blu ray expains the low game sales

Soooooo the fact that X360 user base in the US is twice that of the PS3 isn't the explaination of low software sales (when compared to the X360 that is)?

A real way to compare is by the % of your user base.

The new firmware and bd profile 2.0 will allow the ps3 to play a blu ray movie, take it out, not play it for however long of a time ( even years later) and start back from where the movie left off.

Can the mods just please ban the tc so we can quit seeing these topics?

IIRC with the latest update it also resumes where you left off even if you take the disc out.

The ps3 does the same thing. I can wach a bluray movie and take it out and play call of duty 4 and then later on slip that same movie in and it will play from the same spot I ejected it out on. Pretty cool huh. :)clintos59

I was right, yay!

Other pluses with movie playback is, first off, it plays blu-ray movies, obviously. Secondly it upscales DVD's, and they look quite excellent I must say. And thirdly, no stupid 360 jet fans.

On the 360 if i'm watching a film and i want to do something else, i can just turn the 360 off, when i turn it back on , it goes back to the point i was watching at

And yet, I can't upload movies easily to the Xbox 360 from my PC but I can do it very easily with my PS3............
