tbh I agree... I don't think it's good because navigating menus with analogue stick can be quite painful sometimes. That was something I NEVER had a problem with on the ps2, but on the 360 everything just seems to shoot about from the slightest touch. I remember it giving me quite a bit of agro on dead rising because of the radio commands.
achievments? is that like a new gen thing so kids feel better about winning a game?My friend Joe has most of the SF4 achievements on the 360 version...so obviously it does work...

it just sucks in every other way though.dual shock d-pad is way better than the fisher price xbox d-pad wich is clunky and unresponsive

I wouldn't say it doesn't work, it just doesn't work well. I actually bought the SFIV control pad when I bought SFIV because of that. But there are alternatives that people have already suggested to you so I'll fall back.
it doesn't respond! try playing SF4 with the Dualshock, and then the 360 controller. it's BROKEN! just like the consolecubemoviesLOL the 360 controller doesnt work with the PS3...;)
Yeah its **** and i am surprised there is no new 360 controller after all those years they could maybe change the Dpad and put rechargeable batterie inside the controller? cuz its soo heavy with those bs AAA batteries.SyferonikWell there goes any cred....

[QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"]achievments? is that like a new gen thing so kids feel better about winning a game? Yeah, ps3 copied the 360 and called them TROPHIES! (LOL) so there! But I agree both controller are CRAP for playing fighting games, nothing like the sega saturn pad.My friend Joe has most of the SF4 achievements on the 360 version...so obviously it does work...

The thing about that quote that really bothers me is that he claims the controller is heavy. Mix in a push-up or something. Don't want you tearing your bicep trying to unlock Akuma.
theres a thing which is call analog stick. If u never try it i suggest u do now mate ;). OPuniversewhich doesn't really work for fighters, its just like the dpad on the 360, never goes the way you say.
[QUOTE="ENDOT12123"]it just sucks in every other way though. except the face buttons, sticks and shoulder buttons, only small problem is the hand grips. while the triggers aren't as good as the 360's they work just fine unlike the 360s dpad.dual shock d-pad is way better than the fisher price xbox d-pad wich is clunky and unresponsive

Then don't use the D-Pad.
SFIV is much better with an analog stick.
But it's the best with a joystick, of course.
