So the PS Vita is around the corner (in Japan, at least). The 3DS is already out, and I'm sure some of us want to experience both portables at the same time for one reason or another. I know this sounds kinda silly, but are you? I probably am, and for one reason only: Exclusives.
3DS. I wanted to try and like the Vita but its the same as last time. Much better graphics but the battery life is shoddy compared. The games are the same that I can get on my PS3 and the only one that stands out is Uncharted.
i want the psv much much much much more. But im sure ill get a 3ds down the line (especially if main pokemon game comes out) But psv just looks soo damn good.. also i missed the psp games..so i have that entire catalogue too (not all of it but majority)
3DS fills my handheld gaming needs just fine. There is no way I'd spend 250 on a handheld. When the PSV comes out 6970's should be the same price. I'll rather grab one of those to xfire and enjoy actual amazing graphics.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I know of games that have been announced recently for Vita... it seems as though the Vita is just a PSP 5.0 (can't use 2.0 since there are already a bajillion iterations of the thing) What I mean is, it looks like the thing is just gonna be a High Res PS2 collection kit. I'm all for HD remakes, or HD remasters... but it needs to offer something else. I have a 3DS atm... bought one back in March (probably should have waited), but I knew I needed one due to Mario 3DS and an inevitable NEW Zelda 3DS only thing that Vita has announced that makes me want one even a little bit is Uncharted. I'll just wait for a revision on the hardware.... 3-5 hours isnt long enough, hence the reason i bought the replacement battery for my 3DS... now I get 6+ hours of gameplay in 3D
3DS purchase depends on the critical acclaim of Kingdom Hearts 3D, and the next Pokemon game. If both look solid, I'll pick one up down the line. If not, then I won't.

For now i will go with 3DS, i want to catch up on all DS games i missed, plus the new Square RPG looks amazing and is the major selling point for me so far
All Vita games i want so far are also for my PS3 and frankly i would never buy the inferior Vita version of Ruin and Dragons Crown, i will buy both on PS3
Also Vita has no support for most PSP games and no TV output that would both give it an extra edge, maybe i should wait for such a version first

enough of them ? how about 25+ launch titles ? most stemmed from quality franchises that did well on consoles.

1) so? It's just like a mobile number. Not like the DS and wii 2) so? Ps2 was outdated compared to xbox and gamecube, but it's the games that matter 3) yes it does 4) not really a flaw
