3DS.....life support for Nintendo.

Nintendo is under life support with the 3ds.The Wii and DS are dead.The WiiU probably it will fail because it is last gen(maybe it is a bit more powerful than XBOX360 but nothing big),horrible controller for games,and the big price(probably 350~450$).The 3ds sell good in japan,but nintendo lose money with every 3ds after the price drop,and the software sales are very poor.

It is very clear that Nintendo is under danger because the only thing have left for them is the 3ds.I don't think 3DS is enough to save Nintendo from fail or even better to be third party support for Sony.......because that exactly is 3DS ....a life support.Nintendo is dying.

Well, looks like Nintendo's in a good spot considering 3ds is selling great...can't say the same about sony and the Vita.

I see AtariKid for the moment has abandoned ship on the Vita, and proceeded to smash the Wii U and 3DS(while it is completely dominating it's respective market and Nintendo is laughing at Sony all the way to the bank.)

Yeah, good to see him alive and kicking again. His rare comments in recent Vita-Doom threads showed he took the dire sales pretty bad.

Apprently, he has decided to fight back, with his usual absence of logic and flawed facts! I hope he'll keep it up until next week's Vita Japan sales...

Though when Vita flops elsewhere, I fear we might lose him.

Wii isn't dead yet. Wii-U isn't out and Nintendo stated they still have titles for it. DS is dead, but yet it still somehow pushes units.

Wii-U will be more powerful than current gen. That's a given for anyone with the capability to read and process information. I'm sorry you lack this ability.

The controller has far more potential than Move or Kinect. We saw what dual screens did for handheld. Now we're gonna see what it's gonna do for consoles. Going by what happened with handhelds, Nintendo has the ability to surpass Wii sales.

Software sales are great. Hardware sales are through the roof. 3DS didn't bomb the first few weeks on sale. Vita did.

If having billions in the bank, profit through the roof, and unlimited amount of women and blow means life support, then Sony has already been cremated and buried with poor profits, losing money in multiple sectors, credit rating downgraded, and their latest investment being a huge flop. I can't wait to see you and the other mad cows' reaction when Vita drops price before it even launches here.

Oh, I do remember. I remember that as bad as it was (past the first weeks, which were decent btw), the Vita's start is much, MUCH worse. And no, we won't wait a whole year to talk about it. So no, fair is fair. If Nintendo could not be given the benefit of the doubt and people would not hold off their desire to judge the 3DS a failure, then why should the Vita and Sony be given a free pass? Week and week, I saw endless threads about Nintendo's demise and the failure of the 3DS.

And I find it laughable that you of all people want us to "wait a year" before we bash the Vita's sales. Yes, the 3DS had a slow start, but its overcome that and first year sales of the 3DS are better then comparable sales of the DS. Perhaps the Vita will overcome that, but the cold truth remains.

Right now, the Vita is a failure that is being outsold by both the 3DS and the PSP. In the past week, it did not even manage 100,000 units sold. Now, it may overcome this and improve. But for right now, the Vita is not even in the same league as the 3DS in terms of sales.

And no, we're not waiting a year to discuss the Vita's sales. If people could not wait to see how the 3DS fared as the months passed, then the Vita will not be given a free pass.

Troll much? 3DS is doing great, Wii still leads in sales by a wide margin compared to the HD twins and the DS outsold the PS2 as the best-selling console of all times and is still getting games.

Stop AtariKidX, just stop The 3DS Sells well everywhere. It just broke Enterbrain's record for most sales in December. It sold like 1.5 million+ in one month, in Japan. 12 Million units in 9 months. The software sales are very good, not amazing yet but pretty good. You're aware both Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 have sold 4-5 million copies in about 30-60 days on sale? You need to stop acting like your opinions are facts, stop caring so much about this whole 3DS vs PSV thing coz this thing we all like to debate for ****s and giggles, but you seem to take it a bit seriously. Also, what makes you think the Wii U will be $450? Are you being intentionally silly? Everyone is calling $350 tops, and its more likely $300 or so.
